Boks 78. All Blacks 3. You heard it here first.

Legacy vs ego: The Springboks are playing for South Africa, the All Blacks are playing for themselves

Enjoy the final mate! Let’s hope it’s a cracker!

SPIRO ZAVOS: England's bully boy, no rugby display against Boks is the game they play in hell. Now for the salvation

Against lower ranked teams perhaps, but not sure when they face a top 4 side.

He’ll pop a couple Nurofen and will be good to go for the final I reckon

Selection for the final is going to be super interesting. I wonder if we’ll see all the Boks experience on the bench – Malherbe, Kitsy, Eben, Duane, Kwagga, Fourie, Polly, De Klerk.

Idea is to keep within striking distance. Then bring on experience for the last 40-30 mins to close game out.

Very interested to see how they are this weekend. Long tough tourni might be catching up with them. hope not

Agree. He’s not everyone’s cup of tea because of how he goes about things. But he has changed the rugby landscape in South Africa for the better. Deserves massive credit for that because it’s not easy over there.

Yes and they did it by kicking. Everyone was all heart eyes for them

What did you think of the All Blacks when they pumped the Boks in Auckland this year?

Excellent post Tim J!

For a dude that normally goes the full 80, he looked cooked.

Ah nice. If that was me I’d be snoozing by midday 😛

Haha. 6am kick off in Sydney (I live in Oz). Too early for a tinnie?

100%

Interesting thought Mirt re Wallabies. Some of the fundamentals England did so well could be the building blocks for Wallabies success. Set piece. Defence. Kicking. Field position. Add in tehe Wallabies spirit of cleaver running rugby and it’s a recipe for success!

Agree. Excellent game plan by England executed to (near) perfection. Let’s just be thanksful not every game is played in the wet.

All good mate. Just took it from this comment “The truth though, is for the neutral observer, the Boks aren’t much better to watch, and every neutral should be cheering on New Zealand this weekend.”

No biggie but I like to challenge people to take a closer look at the Boks if they think they’re boring. Just feel it’s a legacy opinion about them that’s not 100% accurate.

Anyway enjoy the game this weekend regardless of who you’re supporting! Hope it’s a belter!

13th if you think 3 counter attacking tries from 90 seconds worth of possession against the worlds best side is boring then my friend you’re not going to enjoy watching any other rugby.

Switch the jerseys from green to all black and your sentiment would be different.

Enjoy mate. I really just hope the game leaves us all talking about the positives of rugby. So much negativity lately.

Whilst I wasn’t a fan of the rugby being played, for me the tactics England used were the right ones on the day for the conditions. And I’m a Bok fan.

Appreciate Spiro tipping his cap to the Boks and their coaches though. If you think they’re boring you’re watching their games through 1990’s glasses.

You’re stuck in the past Qualify! SA certainly do not just play the same. They scored 3 tries off 90 seconds of possession against the worlds best side, France. If that is them “playing the same”, then more of the “same” please.

Eben was off the pace so was subbed. Nothing more nothing less.
