It was a tough initiation for Brailey, certainly a talent, but perhaps a bit too raw for the NRL just as of yet. Mortimer and Cherrington are the obvious choices initially, but don’t be surprised if you see Brown there also.
All the young players you mentioned should be going through the NSW Cup program soon which will help them out more than throwing them into the deep end at NRL level.
Warrington Wolves and Wigan Warriors silence NRL critics
I agree, I was going to mention this throughout the article – both premiership winning teams should play each other a few weeks after the final so we can see their full strength teams. It would certainly be a better spectacle as both would be in form also.
The last three were whitewashes, don’t forget the Roosters smashing St Helens at the SFS in 2014.

A very disappointing performance for Newcastle today, the fans, players and coaches won’t be happy. The scoreline might suggest otherwise, but the Titans will also be very unpleased with their performance. Lots of drop ball out there today. Only a few players can hold their heads high, Dave Taylor and James Roberts especially. They were fantastic on the edges today.

The momentum is starting to shift to the Knights, with just 11 and a half minutes remaining. More tackle breaks have emerged in the last 10 minutes than there has been in the last 68 minutes.
