Let’s just forget about the two playoff games he lost by missed field goals from Mike Vanderjagt, the game he lost when Rahim Moore couldn’t cover Jacoby Jones but hey that’s all Manning’s fault.

The Colts defense in 2006 was ranked 27th in DVOA. That’s the worst ranked defense to win a Super Bowl in the last 15 years. But hey football isn’t a team sport at all…

Peyton Manning has one more big record to break

The fact that it is 2015 and people are still judging players on their RINGZZZZZ is concerning. It’s really really concerning.

Peyton Manning has one more big record to break

Thanks for your feedback Andrew, I see your point but I think you are seriously underestimating the complexity of NFL playbooks. For every scenario there are multiple plays, audibles and options. He is an absolute freak of an athlete but it means absolutely nothing if he doesn’t comprehend the playbook. We have seen it with people that have played American Football their whole lives, gifted as anything but just can’t grasp the mental aspect. His NFL knowledge and understanding of the playbook wont be known until training camp.

Thank you and I feel the same, I wish him all the best

Why Buzz Rothfield should never cover the Super Bowl again

Bradford was actually going good until he got injured in 2013. I think he deserves one more year. Robinson’s presence helps heaps.

I agree mate. The Rams smashed it again! 2013 NFL draft they did the same. That RG3 trade has completely revamped their franchise.
I think Minnesota are big winners as well landing Bridgewater.

As for the losers: the Colts and Chiefs. Remember the colts draft pick in this is Trent Richardson.

Not many will agree but my favourite pick was the Cardinals selecting safety Deone Bucannon. Fits their scheme perfectly.

That wraps up the first day of the 2014 NFL Draft. Hopefully for those that could not watch the coverage that this live blog was of help to you. Who were the winners and losers of day one!?

What a move by the Minnesota Vikings front office. Pairing Bridgewater with Adrian Peterson. A+.

Bridgewater is a top 5 player in this draft, at 32 it is a steal. What a win to close the round.

The Seahawks have traded down! They receive the 40th (2nd round) and 108th pick (4th round) from Minnesota.

Vikings will draft a QB, which one?

THE PICK IS IN: with the 32nd Pick in the 2014 NFL Draft the Vikings select Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville!

With the 31st pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos select Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio State

With DRC and Champ Bailey gone the Broncos needed Corners. The already have Chris Harris but he is coming off a severe injury and they acquired Aqib Talib from New England and now they draft a great replacement in Roby.

A great selection. B+

The 49ers select Northern Illinois Safety Jimmie Ward with the 30th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Another great safety selection, he is a star. Can cover and tackle. Pair him with Eric Reid and you have a safety pairing to rival the Seahawks (no where near close but the potential is there)

The 30th pick is the San Francisco 49ers. Many expected the Niners to trade up with their plethora of picks but they are there now.

I would have preferred Lee, they may double dip and go WR in round 2 as well.

Analysts give Patriots pick a raving review, standard draft.

With the 29th Pick in the 2014 NFL Draft the New England Patriots select Dominique Easley, DT, Florida.

Really really risky pick considering his two ACL surgeries but if there were no injury concerns he would have gone top 12.

Typical Belicheck pick up, high risk and high reward, and most of the time Belicheck gets the reward.

B- grade

2014 NFL Draft: Live blog, updates [VIDEO]

With the 28th Pick in the NFL Draft the Carolina Panthers took no time at all to select Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State.

He is a big red zone guy, big vertical leap and a hard man to tackle. To be your number one target though, that is questionable especially with Marquise Lee still there.

C+ grade. Upside is huge though, could be an Alshon Jeffrey.

THE PICK IS IN:

With the 27th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft the Arizona Cardinals select Deone Bucannon.

FANTASTIC SELECTION. Love the pick, they traded back, grabbed another draft pick and still landed a guy who will play a massive role with in the secondary with Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu.

The Cardinals are on the clock now at pick 27, many are expecting quarterback.

Really confusing selection, D+ grade. Could have gotten him in the second round.

Draft is crazy every year. If Marquese Lee is still there, i think Carolina will take him. But trading back makes a lot of sense.

2014 NFL Draft: Live blog, updates [VIDEO]

With the 26th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft the Philadelphia Eagles select Marcus Smith, DE, Louisville

Pegged as a second rounder, the pick is very confusing. Although Seattle did something similar in 2012 with a guy called Bruce Irvin who is now a great player.

The Philadelphia Eagles Pick is in! Will they replace DeSean Jackson or address that 29th ranked defense?

Chargers selection of Jason Verrett is perfect for their division where they will play Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos twice a year, Jason Verrett can mark Wes Welker in the slot. We will see what Denver do to counteract that.

With the 25th Pick in the 2014 NFL Draft the San Diego Chargers select: Jason Verrett, CB, TCU

Corner or nose tackle was going to be the selection for the Chargers. He is a tough, gritty slot corner and makes an immediate impact.
