Thanks mate! Yeah, I agree you should hunt for tries when possible. I’ve just gotten so frustrated at watching the Wallabies fail from good field position (whether in the 22 or a penalty into touch), mainly due to poor skills. It might be that we need to wait another 15 years so that the next generation is coached better – the problems (as some commenters rightly identify) are just way too widespread in the AU competition. In THAT context, I reckon take the points where you can get them, which is likelier penalties than tries!
