I believe it was. I remember him doubling down on his choke hold by not releasing to try and prevent the try.

It’s not only NZ that gets the rub of the green

Doesn’t bode well for England that France have started to play

As well as 2007, 2008, and 2014

Thought he was out competing in the aptly named Godzone Adventure race

Many point to Steve Hansen as a shining example, but his job was made easy by good governance and easier still by the culture he inherited.

What about the team Cheika inherited. That’s the team he took to the RWC final.

Maybe the question that needs to be answered is since 1 November 2015, what has he achieved?

19 wins from 46 tests for a 41% win rate.

Home series losses to England 3-0 and Ireland 2-1.

Home losses to Argentina and Scotland.

Average 27 points conceded.

2/11 v All Blacks
2/7 v South Africa
0/6 v England
1/4 v Ireland
1/3 v Scotland

Is Michael Cheika a saint, sinner or something in between?

(and with having one of the best in the world to learn from playing with him every week).

If you’re talking about Folau then maybe that isn’t the best comparison as he played AFL for two years but never developed a kicking game :stoked:

Law 12.7

If the ball reaches the 10-metre line but is then blown back or if an opponent plays the ball before it reaches the 10-metre line, play continues.

I think that the opponent played the ball before it reached the 10m line so therefore play continues.

When did this happen?

All Black attitude and waning Wallaby resilience

Eddie will be cursing that it appears France appear to be playing like the French once more

The Wrap: Normal order restored in Bledisloe Cup whitewash

The corresponding game in 2015 had several changes to the team that had won the week before. This for all intents and purposes was the same team.

I don’t see how Cheika can take anything from this unless he changed something drastically behind the scenes in the build up

The Wrap: Normal order restored in Bledisloe Cup whitewash

At which stage did you realise that, ‘that referee’ was reffing, and why didn’t you bet the house?

Also the difference between Coles penalty and the card was 16min not 5min

All Black attitude and waning Wallaby resilience

In fact, Coles should have been yellowed five minutes earlier for cynically rushing in from an offside position to shut down the Wallabies’ attack on his own goal line.

He was about 5cm offside, hardly cynical, he just got his rush defence timing a fraction incorrect

If it was borderline forward and still went behind Hodge, what does that say about Hodge’s positioning?

Sensational kick on the run completely burns the Wallabies

How about this from Beale

“we know we have the ability to actually go out there and tear any team apart.”

Barrett: Our attack will click and All Blacks will retain the Bledisloe

But only one team was drinking from the Cup last night

Bledi hell! Wallabies walloped by brilliant All Blacks

He threw a bad pass that went behind Hodge at ankle height and it was borderline forward anyway. Maybe Hodge over ran him but the pass was never on to begin with.
Hmm so he threw a pass that went behind Hodge but was also forward? What the h3ll was Hodge doing then?

Eight talking points from Bledisloe 2

Whens a complaint not a complaint?

How about we schedule a third test for late October?

Change of tactics implies your coach has given you something than Plan A.

That just isn’t something I think Cheika has in him.

Might be timing peaking to a perfection

Save him from the blacklist. I’d hate to be Kurtley’s ribs anytime in the next two weeks.

Pocock would have taken a hammering and would not have changed the result.

Weren’t they down by 15?

All Blacks vs Wallabies: Bledisloe 2 preview and prediction

There’s a lot of pressure on both teams.

Question is who will succumb to it
