Was Kossie wearing his left boot on his right foot? Another wannabe journalist (we had a certain gold coast fan the last couple of years) has joined the Roar taking pot shots at clubs he personally doesn’t like without actually looking into things professionally before he writes things down.
Six Points: Get set for the best final round EVER, and 2022's worst dive named and shamed
Because they probably want a tall left footed key forward that doesn’t miss 80% of the time
AFL News: Betts reveals Crows' shock stance over racist letter as skipper responds, Buddy Brisbane bound?
Yeah right. Obviously you’re a do as I say not as I do kind of bloke.
AFL News: Players warned over high contact, Riewoldt blasts Saints, Ryder hit for six, Hayes banned, Rutten safe
Actually I reckon Grimes has, but what’s it matter if he’s been fined or not? Doesn’t mean he hasn’t done it which he has on quite a few occasions and so has Jack. Whether you want to admit it or not is totally up to you but every football follower has seen it.

You haven’t seen them stage because you choose not to see it, a bit like most of your commentary on here. Has Harry staged? Yes he has but I think a lot what people see as staging with his is him just not being strong enough in the contest and getting pushed off the ball too easily rather than outright playing for free kicks.

Grimes and Riewoldt do a fair of staging too, does this mean that they’re cheats too?

Manager? In Australian Rules Football they’re called a coach. Maybe stick to what you know best which is obviously not the Australian game
Empty words and over the top celebrations: Here's how low North Melbourne have fallen
Atkins is a good old fashioned tough footballer, he just goes out there and plays footy
Six Points: Umps' Ginnivan treatment officially gets ridiculous, and shocking North takes must be called out
There’s no way he’s worth the same money as a Dusty Martin or a Nat Fyfe not even close. On what he can do then absolutely he could get that but on what he’s done consistently then he’s no more than 600k.
Media bullying of Jordan De Goey has been a disgusting witch-hunt
Carlton are only part way through their culture shift Pete, he needs a strong culture that’s already established like a Sydney or a Geelong to keep him on the straight and narrow.
Media bullying of Jordan De Goey has been a disgusting witch-hunt
Whatever way you look at it DeGoey and Collingwood just don’t work well together. If there was anyone that needed a change of scenery and a fresh start, it’s this bloke. It’s been proven over time that he doesn’t respect the people at the club enough to want to change his ways and/or the club can’t put the right practices in place to control him. He should just move on so both parties can start again, it would be the best thing for them both. He’s too much of a talent to be stuck in the cycle that he’s in. He needs fresh eyes and fresh perspective and somewhere that he can grow not only as a footballer but more importantly as a person, this is not really happening where he is now.
Media bullying of Jordan De Goey has been a disgusting witch-hunt
From what I have read on other sites, if true then May should be suspended by the club for the rest of the year. If Melbourne are fair dinkum about their culture then pi@@ him off and make a stand, it’s not his first rodeo. And in saying this I would love to have Joel Smith at Carlton and Jake Melksham in some capacity as I’d know that he always has his mates backs.
AFL NEWS: Gawn - Demons will rebound, Hill resting after cancer surgery, Docker dumped for drinking
You will never get rid of congestion and paying all these free kicks only make it worse, it’s frustrating for the fans and i could only imagine how frustrating it would be for the players. 2 things the AFL could do to ease congestion which has always been the case in country footy is just throw the ball up whether there are ruckman there or not and at a boundary throw in just throw it straight in. By waiting for 2 big lumbering ruckman to get there from the other side of the ground it just gives more time for the other blokes to get to the contest. When I was a young bloke playing juniors i always ran the boundary for the 2nds and every umpire always said don’t wait young fella, just chuck her in. AFL is fast becoming unwatchable especially when you see the levels below and find them more enjoyable
Six Points: Pile-on on 'stagers' has gone too far, and Brodie Grundy becomes the world's most expensive dead wood
I watched an SANFL game on TV yesterday and it was brilliantly umpired, they only paid the real obvious frees. The game was free flowing even though it was played in a foot of mud. Umpiring has become that bad that I was actually waiting for the whistle every couple of contests which we have become accustomed to in the AFL. It was actually really enjoyable to watch for this reason.
Six Points: Pile-on on 'stagers' has gone too far, and Brodie Grundy becomes the world's most expensive dead wood
It’s about time the AFL cracked down on the stagers and blokes who draw free kicks, they should’ve done it years ago.

Yet Cotchin deliberately kicked Walker and got away with it, go figure. Easy to see why fans are pi^^ed
AFL NEWS: AFL apologises for 'cowardly' Buddy Tribunal dig, mid-season draftee prepares for Blues debut
Tonight should be the making of TDK, he’s rucking against players of his own style, not monsters. Be a good test for him, he needs to put on 10 kilo’s of muscle though. Our forward line versus their backline will be interesting tonight, they’re a fair bit bigger which could play into our hands if we get on top in the midfield and move the ball fast as the majority of our forwards are small and quick. Be smart going into the forward line and we should have this. Heeney is a bit of a worry for us though if he gets his tail up.

Heppell wouldn’t get a game at most clubs let alone captain them, shows where Essendon are at.
Heppell fires back at Essendon's critics
I couldn’t agree any less with your Beams and Treloar comment. If a person can’t be told that they need to step up their output in their place of work for any reason then they shouldn’t be in this said line of work, they should find a line of work which suits their personality/needs. This is not having a crack at people with mental health as I’ve had a bit of it over the years and I’ve dealt with it by working in a job that suits me so I know what I’m talking about. These blokes are on half a mill, some more, a year and cry poor when someone doesn’t stroke their ego the way they want. AFL is a high pressure job, if someone can’t handle/adjust to the pressures that come with it then they should find another line of work like the everyday person does.
No room for David Noble’s spray in modern AFL
I was at the Port/Dog’s game and Rozee is a very overrated player when you watch him live, yes he looks all flashy on TV but the amount of time’s that he wouldn’t run defensively was very ordinary.
AFL takeaways: How your club fared in Round 8
Not sure I’d want him Pete, his attitude looking from the outside is a bit “look at me, look at me”. Would rather team players
AFL NEWS: No.1 pick praised for response to Blue's 'your club is s--t' jibe, report reveals sexism faced by female umpires
Ginnivan will be the modern day Adrian McAdam (but not near as good), start off in a blaze of glory then it will all go to his head. He will be playing local footy in 5 years
AFL NEWS: No.1 pick praised for response to Blue's 'your club is s--t' jibe, report reveals sexism faced by female umpires
People on here have short memories. Melbourne and the Dog’s were nowhere the year before they won their flags. As were Collingwood when they lost by a kick in “18. Absolutely no reason why the Saints can’t do it this year.
Cool the flag talk, the Saints aren't even guaranteed finalists just yet
He said that about Port Adelaide and Hinkley but strangely enough he hasn’t said that about Essendon and Rutten
Will Clarkson choose the Bombers or the Roos?
