Well that was an eventful half of football.
Once the game settled down Victory looked the better of the 2 sides.Their link up play between Troisi, Barbarouses and George was causing all sorts of problems for Wellington who were leaving too much space in between the midfield and the defence. Victory will be feeling a little aggrieved after they had a cracking goal disallowed after VAR intervened. On first look at the replay I think it was harsh call.
The Nix to their credit came back into it and went ahead through a bullet header from Kaludjerovic and he put his side 2 up literally 2 minutes late with another cracking header. The second was a looping effort from just inside the box.
After that Victory piled on the pressure to try get back into the game and still look dangerous particularly through George.
Still plenty to play for and Victory will come out all guns blazing in the second half.
Could Victory be bottom of the ladder after 9 games ?? Time will tell, I am expecting a big second half in this one.
