Yes, good spot furry man. In the modern game if I was playing they’d give me jersey 24.

Super Rugby teams week six: Foketi back after horror injury, Suli benched, Sam Carter set for debut, DMac rested

Thanks MO. The rugby site?

JD, I think that Sekope learnt his timing at school. 😛

“ We made our bed, betting everything on Sua’alii and this is the pay off.”
We made our bed and then wet it.
Is there anyway we can get Hamish n Eddie to chip in and pay for young Joey?

Wonder kid offered 3-yr, $1.6m deal to stay in Aussie rugby - and why it could see Wallabies stars leave Ballymore

I have a small hope he could do a Larkham Peter.

Attributes for a winger must include a comb, and a pocket to keep it in.
What else?
Biro for autographs.
Spare strapping tape for ‘injuries’.

Vunivalu set to be dropped for Brumbies clash as Reds recall off-contract Wallabies star

An MD with a dual cab?
Impressive.
My MD only has a Merc two door and room in the boot only for a stethoscope.

Finau is gathering some reputation.

I won’t dig in as deep as you here Dusty, but I do find Wilson lightweight. He looks sometimes like an unguided missile seeking relevance.
Mils is good. Marshall is good. (Merts is the best in black for mine).
Wilson and Kirwin both played on the wing.
Someone once gave Wendell a definition of a winger –
A bloke who likes to hang around with footy players.
(PS. I wore 14).

Narcissus would be a great nickname for a a winger.

'He's holding a grudge': Fiji coach trolls Coleman after dramatic win over Tahs

I can see that logic Peter.
You could also argue that Wright might bring some adjustment and smarts to close out a game?

'He's very arty in way he plays': Fraser paints positive picture of Wilson combo with Wallaby partnership 'the end goal'

The Rebels rebelling might preoccupy the RA occupiers. DC might not attract any fire.
He’s improved the culture at least as well as Thorn did for mine.

There were a few I remember Jez, back when Coleman was a brand new broom.

Busted, yes, I understand that he may have been enticed into such a cuddly revelation. It’s great fodder for the local paper. But not the steely stuff of international conflict, which is looming fast.
And yes! This weekend will tell us more. It should be a cracker.
I’m leaning towards your boys, based off Kiss’s big game experience, on both sides of the clipboard.
Looking to see more clinic, less champers, in Wallaby contenders, whatever their jersey colour.

'He's very arty in way he plays': Fraser paints positive picture of Wilson combo with Wallaby partnership 'the end goal'

Happy for McR and HW and LR at the Reds. May every Kiss lead to fortune for them.
But …… whatever happened to “we’re concentrating on being selected, then playing well, for the Reds”?
And
“Test selections are a way off and out of our hands”?

“ Don’t they have mirrors in Sydney?”
Can’t speak for all Ankle, but I have one. It’s cracked, but it works.
There’s more than 5 million people/mirrors here – most dont follow rugby, many dont even know what it is, others think it’s the same as NRL …but i digress
Back to the Coach Selection Meeting – I was one excited by early Coleman. Im still hopeful, althpugh now more sober in expectation.
i hear a rumour that theres a push for Cheika coming up from the Randwick end of the Moore Park tunnel.
if true, i wonder what day job these people have. They may know tunnels but they cant read rooms (or learn from history)
For mine, DC is going okay (which is what I said about Rennie just before that old tunnel door creaked open).

My first thought was – who does Kate play for, and in what position?
But far be it from me to argue for separation of church, (sorry… rugby), and state.
So much about a certain family is unknowable, even if every nose follicle of every one of them is world famous.
A fair wrap Geoff. A few fans in my parts are celebrating the rise of the Reds, the strengthening of the Tahs, the Wild West alive with threat, and the BAU of the Brums.
Like BF, I’m still not sure if the Super playing field ‘looks more level’ because we got better, or because NZ has softened. (I do feel for social workers down Canterbury way though.)
On these things I’m with Jeff ‘too early to say’ Wilson, aka the busted clock.

The Wrap: Wallaby's brain fade that cost the Tahs, con job worthy of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

It can get a tad tricky when a ‘neutral’ gets frivolous after a defeat.
Personally, I have hope invested in Kiss’s new Reds. Oz rugby needs Queensland talent to gel, and yesterday.
I don’t knock TMac or HW for fun. I want them to be all that they can be.
The Force took wind out of their sails, sure. And won by only 9 points. But that looseness against some other teams could’ve been devastating.
I expect that they will be Kissed this week.

Reds' 'unbelievable, unfathomable' double disaster sums up shocker as Force spring stunning upset

Ha! That wasn’t the worse they said of me.
And, unlike the mobs critiquing Tate, the crowds were only 3 men and a dog.

True, they did let me stay, Jacko. But there was some dissent amongst the adjudicators. Had to drop a couple of vowels, and bingo! I was in.

Mine was a joke Busted.

I don’t read papers or watch TV any more.
I was thinking more metaphorically- of the amplification of Jimmy OConnor’s recent bullish comments on blogs like this, not any ‘press’ per se.
I’m sure that Reds fans were more Jeff Wilson than James OConnor at this point of the season.

“ Kudos to ref and officials who let the game flow”
Yes, but it also helps when both teams turn up to compete not cheat.

I did enjoy the ‘invisibility’ of the referee. Refs are like plumbers, dentists and police. It’s always less painful when we don’t see them at work.

Reds' 'unbelievable, unfathomable' double disaster sums up shocker as Force spring stunning upset

Busted, I’m not writing Tate off. It’s extremely difficult to get to the level that he plays at.
When I played club it was on the wing. I played okay, but I had a small vacuum in my skill set.
Speed. (Kinda important for a winger I’m told).

Wish it wasn’t true that one of our Wallabies has a feeble core skill.
But, under pressure, when playing against a 9 with a more robust and ambidextrous pass, little vacuums can make a big difference. One pass was dropped by a big Red runner in a strong position. I honestly want Tate to excel. He’s a gun rugby player, but still – a nine’s passes matter.
