We are the unofficial Usman Khawaja Fan Club. Our aim is to create awareness of the mistreatment of Usman Khawaja in the Australian Cricket Set up. Our views and opinions are not necessary shared by the man himself

Mr Brian,

Why would Usman be rested? He’s just been lying around in the Maldives for how many weeks?
How much more rested could the man be?

Mr Mitch & Mr Pat are coming off injuries. I can understand their absence. Why Australia’s Best Batsmen (outside Mr Davey & Mr Smudge) can be left out makes as much sense as the Khawarmy’s English!

What is selection criteria? The panel needs to explain absences of important players

Surprises abound as Australia reveal ODI and T20 squads for England and Zimbabwe tours

Mr Scott,

Can I just say what a load of garbage this selection party is.
Australia loses it’s best two batsmen in Mr Davey & Mr Smudge and Usman Khawaja can’t get a game.
Do these selectors watch Domestic One Day Cricket? Usman has dominated it for the last three years
yet can’t get selected when the best two bats are out?
Who do they pick instead? Mr Darcy & another wicket keeper?
Or do the Ossie selectors think Mr Alex is a better batsmen than our Usman?

Mr Kev,

The Khawarmy continue to stand with you and Mr Bearfax along the Usman Khawaja journey.
It is great that we are seeing the Aussie Selectors providing our Usman with the opportunities we all truly wished for the great man.
But we have to say, our mission will not be accomplished until we see Ussie a Fixture in the starting XI of each of the Formats. This day has to be near, and totally agree with DingoGray analysis that Khawaja can’t continue to be ignored!
Australian Cricket will only be better off with his inclusion. He is the Future Face of Cricket Australia.

Usman Khawaja's purple patch continues

The Khawarmy always knew this day would come! Usmania starting to grip the Australian Cricketing Landscape!
CA now want Uz to be the face of the game! Just results for a tough period where he’s been to hell and back!
Keep the runs flow Uzzi! And enjoy the ride, the Khawarmy will be there all the way.

Patience and resolve key to Khawaja's success

Mr Widget,

It will be great for the Khawarmy to have our Usman back in the Test team, however it’s a tough one for whoever misses out. Whether it’s Mr Joe or Mr Shaun, both will be very unlucky to miss out on the Mecca of all Test! Boxing Day at the MCG. It is just a pity with this very weak West Indian Team out here that the Test Match won’t make Day 4. If only the Windies could include Mr Chris and his golden bat and Mr Big Andre for the MCG! It would at least be an entertaining 3 days!

Sorry Shaun, but Usman and Joe took their chances first

Mr Brett,

Christmas Greetings from the Khawarmy. We are only hoping that Santa visit’s Usman Christmas Tree with another bagful of runs.

The Christmas wish list for 2015

Mr Dane,

The Khawarmy would love to see you adjusted this List once our Usman gets a Boxing Day Double Century.

Australia's top ten easiest to remember sporting triumphs of 2015

Mr Dan,
you are a very funny man.
We are certainly hoping The Usman Khawaja era is here to stay!

The Liebke Ratings: First Test Australia vs New Zealand

Mr Perry,
“A top order batsman with a 1st class avg sub 40”
“Go figure – it’s only his relatively young age that gets him a game ahead of I suppose someone like Mr Klinger ”
It would be good if people like yourself would investigate before you trot out rubbish like this. For the record Uzzie FC CAREER Average is higher than those who he made the team in front of. He’s the next Best. Even Klinger who has absolutely dominated last 2 years still averages below 40.
You say Khawaja is overrated, well then so is everyone batsmen in Australia trying to force his way into the side.
If you had said unfilled potential you may have carried some weight. But overrated lets keep that to those who are genuinely overrated.

The new Khawaja makes his mark

Mr Brett,
Good things currently coming out of Brisbane providing very strong sporting performances!

NRC 2015: The post-season wrap

Mr Ronan,
The Khawarmy always knew this day would dawn! Usman too good of cricketer and man not to perform on the highest stage.
It was only a matter of time. His character and technique is perfectly suited to test cricket and he only needs an extended run
to nail down the number 3 spot as his for next 10 years.
Unfortunately for Mr Shaun, his days in the Baggy green may now have passed.

The new Khawaja makes his mark

He’s a class batsmen! Just needs a proper chance!

Mr Kev,

The Khawarmy do indeed hope you are right. We don’t wish for anything sinister to be at play here.

Australia names young squad for limited overs tour

What more can our Usman do?

Dominated the State ODI comp last season, gets injured, comes back and does well in India A tour yet still misses out……

Mr Sideline,

We are an Army, Not a Bandwagon

Burns and Nevill the best options to replace retiring stars

Mr Ryan,
Please accept the Khawarmy’s humble apologies. We would also like to congrat you and the @Sokettes on ROK Test Debut!

Khawaja back in frame for ODIs and Tests

Mr Ronan,
World Cup squad would have coverage for 2 bats & 2 bowlers. Balance wise I would assume Bailey/White fighting out middle order spot. That would then leave an spot to cover top order. The Khawarmy believe our Usman is in a three way battle along with Mr Ben & Mr Phil. Runs are the only currency that counts! So keep churning them out Usman!

Khawaja back in frame for ODIs and Tests

Mr Kev,
The term is Khawarmy, and Brett Mckay was the first to label us!

Khawaja back in frame for ODIs and Tests

Mr Ronan,
It’s a looking more and more unlikely. The emergence of Mr Mitch as a genuine all rounder place Mr George in trouble.
There is also our Usman who’s back banging on the door! With BBQ runs! Hopefully it’s a solid platform that he continues in Sheffield Shield Cricket. World Cup should be the aim for Mr Usman.

Is Bailey's Test comeback a pipedream?

Mr Dane,
These WINDIES STINK to high heaven!
Have ALLAH look after them!

Windies cricket sinks to new levels

Mr Ronan,
WE ARE BACK BABY!
Like us, the Great Usman has gone away and worked extremely hard on his game. He my friend is ready for a return to the Australian Setup. One Mr Aaron should be looking over his shoulder! Our Usman is coming for his spot at the World Cup! Which will then springboard him back into the Test arena!
It’s happening!

Doolan's ton should cement Test spot

Mr Glenn,

Usman’s returns in current shield season, are actually better than what Mr Bailey has provided in the last 12 months of FC crickt. Yes Mr Bailey has some good ODI forms against Inida, but Usman also had sensational One Day form in the Ryobi Cup.
Usman hasn’t “earned” Test return, yet Bailey didn’t “earn” a Test spot either…..I’d bet Australia’s deficit of Usman doing better than what Bailey will contribute against RSA.

Voges should replace Bailey in South Africa

Mr Glenn,

What about our man USMAN? He’s terrific against pace bowlers and South Afrcia have the best pace attack in the world.
Yes he struggles against spin, however RSA spinners are certainly not of great standard and therefore shouldn’t trouble USMAN.
Give USMAN another shot!

Voges should replace Bailey in South Africa
