Good job. The Brownlow medal is awarded to the Best and FAIREST player. While he may have been the best in 2012, this was done with an unfair advantage. An unfair advantage he had personally and many of his teammates which saw them win more games than they should of, which in turn led to more votes for him. This is half complete now. Next step is for the AFL to issue medals to Sam Mitchell and Trent Cotchin
Jobe Watson makes his decision on 2012 Brownlow Medal
The Irish turned up to the game prepared and wanting to win. The All Blacks turned up expecting to win and unprepared, leaving out key players. It was a bad loss for the All Blacks and they did not give Ireland the due respect in their team selection and preparation for the game. All week they have been on tourist mode, attending NBA games and the likes.
Full credit to Ireland though as they played superbly. If Ireland didn’t the All Blacks might have still squeaked home. Even at the 65 minute mark, the All Black had come from 22 down to pull within 4 and you would have thought with a stronger bench and all the momentum they would get the job done but the Irish held strong, regathered and surged.
Not sure the mindset was right for the All Blacks and it wasn’t their best 15 on the park, but in two weeks time I am expecting a blacklash to hit Ireland in the return bout and the best 15 All Blacks available to play 80 minutes of ruthless rugby and pummel the Irish.
Five talking points from Ireland's win over New Zealand
Well done Ireland. Should have had us in 2013 but blew it. Kept their composure today. Thought we might sneak away with this one again when we closed it to 33-29 with 15 to go but Ireland regrouped and held strong. The All Blacks should have left Aaron Smith at home and after tonights game they should send him on a plane back

Its comical to see a 3 horse field in the Caulfield Stakes. You think more runners would have accepted. Its a $600k race so 4th place money is probably going to be around the $30k vicinity. You could run a Shetland Pony in the race as the fourth horse and it would be guaranteed at least $30k in prize money.
Caulfield Stakes, Toorak Handicap, Spring Champion: Group 1 Preview and Tips
I would play him for another two seasons. He is a great onfield general and had he have been there on Saturday the GWS Giants would likely be in the final
Steve Johnson could play on: Giants coach
I think this weekends game will be a lot closer than people think. The boks have a habit of bringing their A game against the All Blacks. Take the last world cup for example. They gave us one hell of a fright and even though I think the All Blacks are a vastly more talented side, a bok side playing with a lot of heart is a very tough opponent. They may lack consistency in their performances at the moment but I wont be taking them lightly this weekend.
Boks still finding best game plan: Hansen
They have taken this long because ASADA is involved and you know what happened last time ASADA and the AFL went head to head

Coetzee, while being a great defensive coach, doesn’t have a clue how to prepare an attacking side. This is why he failed at the Stormers. He was good enough to get his team to the finals but never good enough to be a real threat for it because of his shortfall in the offensive area of the game. He will be gone by the end of the year. A couple of All Black losses and a potential loss to the Wallabiesin Australia will seal his fate.
Springboks display failed game plan of a failed coach
Good riddance. Leppitsch is yet another great player who cannot coach to save his life. Just like Tim Watson, James Hird and Michael Voss, great players do not always make great coaches. Brisbane should have got an established coach and had the likes of Voss and Leppitsch as assistants for a minimum of 3 years. Letting in an average of 130 points a game is a disgrace. Even Essendon B didn’t allow anywhere near those numbers but they had a real coach.
Justin Leppitsch sacked as Brisbane Lions coach
You watch. Brisbane and Gold Coast will merge like Fitzroy and Brisbane did, and Brisbane Suns will be a force for 5 years before turning into the joke they are today
Justin Leppitsch sacked as Brisbane Lions coach
Actually the Wallabies will be the one seeking a bit of revenge if anything for that little game played in November last year for the World Cup 😉 We got our revenge back in November in the best way possible
Wallabies might outcap the Blacks this Saturday, but that won't win them Bledisloe 1
I think this leg will be a lot closer than people think but the NZ leg will be a blow out
Rugby Championship Round 1 preview: Wallabies vs All Blacks
LOL! Genia and Giteau??? Wheres Eales, Kearns and Horan? Why aren’t they playing too? The Wallabies are becoming a bigger and bigger joke. As any builder knows, rebuilding should be done with new products. Not products well past their use by date like Genia and Giteau. All the great work of 2015 seems to have been flushed down the toilet in less than 12 months.
Wallabies might outcap the Blacks this Saturday, but that won't win them Bledisloe 1
So the Canterbury Bulldogs breached their salary cap. A season with no pints and titles stripped. The Melbourne Storm do the same, a season with no points and titles stripped. The Eels cheat for 5 season and lose a title and only 12 points and are given a chance to make the finals. They should be playing for nothing this season
Parramatta Eels to be docked 12 points, fined $1 million for salary cap breaches
Fair would be what Canterbury and Melbourne got. They should be playing for nothing this season
Parramatta Eels to be docked 12 points, fined $1 million for salary cap breaches
Opening rounds are always tough. Unless an away team is heavily favored in the betting market like Sharks and Lions, best to stick with the home teams
Super Rugby tipping: The panel is back!
Goromaru on bench? Guy should be playing for Sunwolves, not Reds and he is miles better than KHunt
Super Rugby tipping: The panel is back!
I have been saying he should be stripped for over two years now. The Brownlow medal is simply put the best and FAIREST. A strong emphasis on the fairest part. AFLPA PLayer of the year, Herald Sun and Age player of the year awards etc, are given out to the best player for the year. Players who have been suspended can win that award. The Brownlow Medal is a different beast. You have to be the best player but do it with an acceptable level of fairness, which involves no suspensions and certainly not getting an edge from an illegal performance enhancing drugs.
Without a shadow of a doubt he should have the Brownlow Medal removed from him. The very thought of having someone who benefited from performance enhancing drugs goes against the very principle of the medal being awarded to the best and FAIREST
The questions that need to be asked is would he have been as dominant without the drugs and would Essendon as a whole been as competitive in their games without them. The answer to that would be no. Less wins for Essendon and less Brownlow votes for Jobe.
Should Jobe Watson be stripped of his Brownlow Medal?
Two mediocre sides and they expect $69 for the nosebleed section. What a joke. They want to promote the game at least have two decent ranked sides going at it. Not a team who who probably be ranked around 40 playing one ranked around 80. Find a ranked side with an aussie connection and pit it against another ranked side.

Derrick Henry is a beast and a virtual lock to go top in the NFL draft when he does put his name up. If he doesn’t win the Heisman then something is seriously wrong with the selection panel.
College football 2015: Week 13 heroes
Michigan State deserve a spot. To beat Ohio State on their own dung heap without Conor Cook was a gutsy performance. They were stiff to lose at Nebraska but by the same token the gods smiled on them against Michigan with the punt block.
College Football 2015: Week 12 heroes
You missed the biggest villain of the week – the TCU coach. What a complete and utter boneheaded play going for the 2 point conversion. They had all the momentum coming from 13-30 down and a PAT would have leveled it at 30-30. They would have gone into OT with all the momentum, with Baker Mayfield out the game and Oklahoma struggling for any offense after he left injured. Any chance they had of a playoff spot disappeared with that poor choice
College Football 2015: Week 12 villains
Ole Miss are a villain of the weekend to me. They cost me a $1500 collect on a 14 leg multi. They should have never let Arkansas convert 4th and 25. Then the stupid facemask penalty on the 2 point conversion. They snatched defeat from the jaws of victory there.
