BF I’m a Highlanders fan, if the Crusaders want to stick their head in the sand, so be it! Arguing they don’t have the player depth is a furphy. They still have depth, they don’t have structure or a settled team. To go from repeat champions to stone motherless in less than a season with seemingly no improvement speaks volumes.

My point around the current and ex ABs is that they have plenty of leadership on the field, but still aren’t improving or getting results. There’s no way they should’ve been beaten so comprehensively by the Force.

Joseph and Brown took a team of mostly journeymen to a title. The current coaches need to go, this team is going backwards week on week.

Another good wrap. Speaking of ‘Mickey Mouse’, in any other professional sport both Dermody and Penney would have already been shown the door, or at least have been read their last rites. We’ve heard plenty about DC and whether or not he’ll be around next season with the Tahs, but surely both Dermody and Penney need to go after disastrous seasons, yet we’ve heard nothing from their franchises.
The constant chopping and changing of line ups, incredibly poor game plans and skill execution, plus teams that are getting worse not better by the week, suggest it’s time for them both to go. Especially when you compare their ‘success’ to Laidlaw, Cotter, McMillan and even Razor early on in their tenures.
For what it’s worth, the Crusaders had 9 current or former All Blacks in their playing 23 on Saturday. Simply, not good enough.

Good to get this out on the table, but the devil is in the detail. Who do SOARR propose to install as the interim Chairman? What is their plan to bring money, sponsors and fans back into the game? What would the new Board structure look like, and who do they suggest be nominated for the Board positions? What criteria would be required, business experience, rugby knowledge, a postcode on Sydney’s north shore?
