I don’t get the “fans points”.
Maybe I’m just too conservative or so, but I don’t see people, whose club’s just been estabilished to left their jobs to help building the stadium. With Union goes lots of families histories connected to the club’s one, so it was the impulse to contribute. Australia isn’t in this case. The same goes with open-source plans. Someone need to be the head of the project when building starts and can be taken to court is somekind of a disaster would occur, so none would let fan-made plans to come to reality when not completely sure about theirs safety. Money for checking combined with money for possible changes can rose enormously.
In the matter of memberships – aren’t clubs let alone to decide what they spend that money on? Aren’t the fans paying for the stadiums in some part right now? In example new Parramatta?
