What a thoroughly demoralising day if you are an Australian cricket fan.
England started the day at 3-31 and went on to score 302 for the loss of just 2 wickets.
Bowling just was not threatening enough all day.
England end the day at 5-333 with Root not out 178, what a tremendous effort.
