This is a valid point, sorry just used to the Tigers falling short against these teams. But yes, I agree and think they’ve got a very good chance of beating Manly, Souths and going off the weekend’s footy they have a decent chance at beating Penrith next time around

Are the Tigers on the way up?

Yea agreed, probably need an x-factor forward that can really break games open. Something which the club has lacked for a while now

Are the Tigers on the way up?

Madge has done a very good job with the roster that he has as you said. I can’t imagine how hard it would be having that much amount of money essentially on the sidelines. Yet they were still able to finish better than seven other clubs last year.

Are the Tigers on the way up?

Yep 100% agree. If they can’t get a four point lead over eighth place heading into round 15, they may struggle to make the eight.

Are the Tigers on the way up?

This is true. They’ve definitely struggled to score points against the better sides in the competition which is a bit worrying and is something they can’t continue to do if they want to want to make the eight. We’ll get a real indicator of where their attack is at in the last six rounds, when they come up against the Roosters, Penrith, Manly, Souths, Melbourne and Parra. Very very tough run home.

Are the Tigers on the way up?

Should wait till next years’ free agency imo. Lakers would have to give up either Ball or Ingram and future first round picks to secure Kawhi. Not worth it when there’s the possibility that he’ll only stay for the one season.

It’s time to pull the trigger on Kawhi, Los Angeles

Thanks for the reply, Totally agree that the Sydney sides with a suburban ground should play majority of their home games there. No atmosphere when teams play at Homebush or SFS with a crowd of 10,000. 10,000 at the suburban grounds generates a great atmosphere and for me personally love watching the Tigers play at Leichhardt Oval. The new Parramatta stadium should be used for the bigger clashes in Sydney when they anticipate that they will have a crowd of 20,000+.

The return of a Tigers legend

Changed it up now, but I was just automatically giving the side the two points from this weeks bye week so they’re technically two wins behind the broncos but Broncos have a game in hand, confusing thing about allocating points for a bye

The return of a Tigers legend

Yea, I wrote it before last nights game and Crichton is a monster. Have been reaping the rewards of picking him up in NRL fantasy earlier in the season. Only problem with Nofoaluma is that his defence is an issue, not necessarily his tackling ability but his positioning. Tigers concede too many tries down that right edge defensively. Centre’s was tough as I don’t believe there are any centres that consistently perform, I guess that’s just the nature of the position. Gutho would be the perfect bench utility player. Bring him in after 20 mins and he’ll cause havoc.

My NRL team of the season thus far

Walker was selected a five-eighth so his performances in any other position were irrelevant, same with Moylan. If you include matches they played in other positions it doesn’t truely reflect how they placed in a specific position.

Cheers, appreciate it 🙂

My NRL team of the season thus far

I was in awe when I heard that the Tigers had reportedly offered him $1 million a year contract. Thankfully, they pulled that offer of the table. I believe that the Eels have certainly paid overs for him and I think that his defence partly comes down to his technique but in this day and age with these big (100kg+) mobile forwards, he is just too small to be able to defend these guys. I do know that defence is about technique but it does help to have some size behind you. So if I was Brad Arthur I wouldn’t worry about developing his attacking skills over the pre season but getting him in the gym to put on a few kilograms and to make him partake in countless defensive drills.

The Parramatta Eels' halves dilemma

Agree with the fact that he won’t be playing for Wenty, but apparently Norman and Moses in the halves and Gutherson will move into the centres for Auva’a and French will stay at fullback

The Parramatta Eels' halves dilemma

In the current form he’s in he isn’t a first grade half. However, if he can fix his defence and play more consistently then I believe that he can be a good first grade half.

The Parramatta Eels' halves dilemma

As a Tigers supporter, I guess I’m just hoping that this season he can consistently perform like he did at the back end of last season. But since his form has been more down than up this season and his defence being a consistent problem for us, I was glad to see him leave the club. Would love to see him turn into the player he can be at the Eels though.

The Parramatta Eels' halves dilemma

That seems to be the direction that they are going to go in
