Sports nut. Too much sport is never enough.

Brian Taylor used the old ‘sold him some candy’ tonight in the Geelong v Richmond game. Nice one Brian.

Please stop with the 'premiership quarter' nonsense

Hmmm. That doesn’t make much sense either Penster. By that logic, maybe it should be called the ‘premiership half’. Personally, I’d just prefer the term was never used. Not a big fan of premiership window either.

Candy is an American term Cat. That’s why I don’t like it. Pretty simple really.

That one annoys me too. ‘Sold him the candy’ is so American. Brian Taylor is notorious for coming out with this one.

I don’t know how much you can lay the blame on McGregor for the Dragons fading so badly this season.
Personally, I think McGregor is doing alright, and he made a tough but right call on Dugan two weeks ago
when he was stood down for missing the team bus.

I think this season comes down to not having enough depth as a squad and being too reliant on Widdop to guide the team around the park. Widdop is a very good player, but his kicking game can be hot and cold. The addition of Ben Hunt next season will make the team less predictable, and give their opposition something else to think about.

The Dragons played some great footy this year, and while they missed the finals it’s probably the best season they’ve had for awhile.

Dragons vow to stop signing coaches

The Swans hey?

That would be an incredible result after where there were from 0 and 6.

Essendon first though.

The Roar’s AFL expert tips and predictions: Finals week one

Really? Please share your stats with me.

Please stop with the 'premiership quarter' nonsense

My bolter for the premiership is St George. At the start of the year they were red hot. They fell away over the State of Origin period, and have been patchy ever since. But if they sneak into the finals they could cause a few headaches, especially if their forward pack gets on a roll.

And then there were three: The trio of teams that can win the NRL title
