Was at the game and it was a tough contest with the clashes clearly audible from the sideline. Most impressive was the force counter rucks with several rewards. Yep agree with previous comments, Reds were lethargic.

Twiggy, we go back to his original days in 1984 at the stockbroker Jackson’s in Perth, then plenty thereafter. Always fish hooks.
'He screwed our state': The act that still angers Twiggy Forrest and why he's not ready to jump back in
Hello Mark,
Good to see you on the Roar. Haven’t seen you since your days at The West Australian days!
I hear what you say but knowing what I know, I find it incredibly difficult to believe there were no strings attached, indeed massive fish hooks.

I thought the RWC Wallaby review was due to be tabled in December pre-Xmas. I thought at the time that’s awfully short, unless the outcome had been predetermined (Something like: it was Scott Morrison’s fault!!). Anyway, it now 6 weeks late so let’s see what it has to offer….

Are you suggesting the commission treat Aus rugby like Fantasy Footy. All players have a rating (determined by the Commission?) and states get to pick players subject to a cap. The cap is equal across all states so in theory no team is stronger than another, and State allegiances are dismantled and there’s no implicit subsidisation of the weak states?
If Hamish hasn’t enunciated the benefits of centralisation, then I too am at a loss.

Eddie was objectively judged in his merits and success. I’m not sure it was in any way vindictive or vitriolic as you suggest. Jones’ World Cup suggestions were strange to rubbish. You don’t select a growth squad for the WC – you select a team to win to carry the nation with you?
Eddie Jones quits as Wallabies coach - 'Sometimes you have to eat s--t for others to eat caviar'
Ain’t that the truth. Comments to date focus on Eddie, but what about the selection process.
Goodby Hamish et al.

You’re far too educated for this site mate.

Ridiculous comment.

The key emerging theme of this World Cup has been the diversity and inclusion of the ginger-bred (pun intended) players. More red hair on display than ever before!!

'Concede points there, they're done': Moment England missed to bury Springboks as ghosts of 2019 return
I said after the France SA game BOK was totally overawed- everyone around him was chirping and offering reffing suggestions. It was ugly. Today he showed he’s weak and inept. I thought he was technically sound but he totally failed to control the pace of the game.
Did anyone measure the “ball in play” time? I bet it was close to 30%.
Thank goodness he’s not in the final.
PS – don’t think Pollard deserved the MOTM. Farrel for sure.

Why Nic White can’t be on the plane to France
Excellent article and interesting stats. It was about minute 74. I screamed at White – box kick after 2 phases…………
Why Nic White can’t be on the plane to France
Agree KK. The ABs run 5 – 12 phases regularly, and White box kicked after 2 phases in about the 70th minute… Even if this is Eddie’s game plan I’d refuse.

Nic White frustrated me no end. His box kick after 2 phases in about the 70th minute did it for me.

The “independent” 2023 and World Cup review into the Wallaby’s performance included 23 recommendations, but none to spill the board. The closest was to “Foster greater interaction between RA Board and national players, to build trust, promote transparency & improve culture.”
There were a number of subsidiary recommendations regarding the Board and anchoring it to the High performance culture, but if you have a board of entitled old boys you’re not going to achieve anything.
