May be a little bit behind with this article, but I shall have a week 7 article out in the next couple of days 😊
NBA 2020-21: Five talking points from Week 6
He had a really good game today, loved it 👍
NBA 2020-21: Five talking points from Week 5
Could see him playing starter and they push Steph to shooting guard, but he could really dominate for that second unit
NBA 2020-21: Five talking points from Week 5
He is in the top 4, but I have him behind Simmons and Bogut.
Joe Ingles is the best basketballer Australia has ever produced
Thank you 2dogz, I really want to see him go to either the Clippers or the Warriors. I think he would fit both teams well
NBA 2020-21: Five talking points from Week 5
Hey Christo, appreciate your reply. I think Randle has been more of a reason for the Knicks winning games this season, and he has improved his stats all-around (his playmaking skills being a lot better this season than last). However, my overall favourite at the moment is Jaylen Brown or Jerami Grant
The NBA award frontrunners after four weeks of play
Forgot about Christian Wood. He is definitely playing good basketball
The NBA award frontrunners after four weeks of play
Good choices, I would also consider Jaylen Brown and Julius Randle for Most Improved Player award. However, Grant is the clear favourite at the moment despite the Pistons terrible record
The NBA award frontrunners after four weeks of play
It is good to see Ingles going well, but yeah I agree that he should shoot more. But he plays within the system I suppose.
I think Houston are looking more towards a fully fledged rebuild, which is strange since they are now stuck with John Wall. Oladipo will likely be shipped off or will walk in free agency, and the picks are more like some security in order to build their future.
So pick swaps are essentially what it says, except with like a clause. For example, Houston will swap picks with the Nets for that year (but only if the Nets pick is a better pick than there’s).
So say the Rockets get Pick 3 and the Nets get Pick 22, the Rockets would keep their pick because its the best pick. But, say the Nets get Pick 6 and the Rockets get Pick 14, the Rockets would get the Nets pick because it is better and the Nets would get Houston’s pick. That’s just an example but I hope that makes sense

No worries man, absolutely loving KD’s play at the moment.
Kinda hope Embiid or Jokic keep it up though and win the MVP award
Who's leading the NBA MVP race?
I’m really pleased with this top 5 at the moment, and it is brilliant to see two big men in the top 3 on the list. Both Embiid and Jokic have been balling, and I’d say arguably should be higher than Bron. However, you cannot fault what he and the Lakers have been doing this season.
Also, as much as his move still stings me since I’m an OKC fan, it is great to see KD come back from that terrible injury to playing almost better than ever. Great article!
Who's leading the NBA MVP race?
The Jazz surely have settled, and it will be interesting to see whether they can improve. I do like your idea of Robert Williams in the trade for Hayward though as he does have a lot of upside
Is Rudy Gobert worth $200 million?
Holiday could have helped the team out on the defensive end as well, however I think Hayward for Gobert is not a good deal at all. Gobert brings the defensive prowess in the paint and is one of the best shot blockers in the game. Plus, the Jazz already have a lot of scorers. Porter Jr. could be a nice pick up if they get him cheap though
Is Rudy Gobert worth $200 million?
I appreciate your opinion, and McGee would git the team will. However, Gobert is a valuable player for the team the majority of the time. While it could be debated this his inability to stretch the floor should downgrade his contract, he does fit what the Jazz needs.
What other players would you suggest they spend that money on if they can get them?
Is Rudy Gobert worth $200 million?
Oh definitely, Nash is in a lose/lose scenario. If they go well, he will not get any credit. If it doesn’t succeed, Nash is going to be thrown under the bus. Probably got the hardest egos to manage in the NBA
Will the new-look Nets be better with or without Kyrie Irving?
DeAndre is pretty much untouchable at the moment due to Durant and Irving wanting him to play over there.
Plus, that trade would be really good for the Nets, however as you said it is absolutely crazy for the Clippers to do that. Unless they know they are going to get production out of Irving, I would not be trading him for another star that is turning up every night
Will the new-look Nets be better with or without Kyrie Irving?
Very good points Jacks, I did not think about the impact it would have on Durant since he went over there to play with Irving. However, would playing with Harden be able to make up for that move if it meant more depth?
It would be interesting and definitely would make the Nets better if they could some depth for him, but I do agree his value is definitely questionable. Would a team outside of contention be willing to trade some talent for a superstar and risk Irving not wanting to play?
Will the new-look Nets be better with or without Kyrie Irving?
Agree with your comments except for the trading of Oladipo from the Pacers being dumb. It was a steal for the Rockets, however I think LeVert will fit in nicely in Indiana and is a better player currently than Oladipo
James Harden traded in huge deal
Exactly right, need to figure out whose the Bron, whose the Wade and who the Bosh is. They are in win now mode and will be under a lot of pressure to get it done
James Harden traded to Brooklyn: Winners and losers of the four-team blockbuster trade
Oladipo was a steal for the Rockets, I’ll have to check out your article as well.
Either Oladipo will the fill the void for the Rockets in shooting guard somewhat, or they can use his expiring deal as further trade bait or to open up some cap space. Easy win for the Rockets
James Harden traded to Brooklyn: Winners and losers of the four-team blockbuster trade
Rockets definitely did a good job with their trade, they managed to get good talent in Oladipo and Exum. They also managed to get a lot of unprotected draft picks, which will help the young team develop. While it may look bleak at the moment, the Rockets have a bright future ahead.
James Harden traded to Brooklyn: Winners and losers of the four-team blockbuster trade
There is no doubt about the offensive firepower of the Brooklyn Nets, however the egos and the defensive struggles will be difficult to manage. They will need to bring in some defensive talent on the cheap and it will be interesting to see how it all works out.
Nash is going to have a tough time managing all the egos.
James Harden traded to Brooklyn: Winners and losers of the four-team blockbuster trade
Thank you for reading rakshop, I 100% agree with your comments. No matter whether the Nets are successful or unsuccessful, Nash will receive the blame.
It is a lot of pressure for a first year coach to deal with so many egos and he will struggle to manage the team. The Nets have lost a lot of depth and will be under the pump, and while the three stars of the Nets will be under the microscope, so will Nash.
James Harden traded to Brooklyn: Winners and losers of the four-team blockbuster trade
Beal has been brilliant, I do not think he will win MVP though as the Wizards record has been woeful
