Impressed with Todd Marshall, l thought he had a great night. Enjoyed him going up the ground and his ability to kick the ball well to the advantage of his fellow forwards. Might not get a lot of ball, but when he does he’s effective.

Fair enough, l feel like Bancroft was left out prematurely after the sandpaper series. I think Harris has had plenty of chances including after the sandpaper series, back end of 2019 Ashes and start of 2021 Ashes. Unfortunately he hasn’t found the ability to get big scores at test level.

Good question, l think culture is the most important to any sporting team, but at the same time you need the cattle as well. Culture over talent any day though that wins you titles.

Australia has great depth in the fast bowling department and always have. Cameron Green has only just scraped the surface on what he can do and hopefully Jhye Richardson can keep his body right. I also like Aaron Hardie who is a great all-rounder for WA. Micheal Neser has to be one of the unluckiest bowlers to get a regular game, he would get in any other international team.

That’s fair enough, but l could imagine the media questioning these players who start underperforming.

Well l mean that’s one of the potential problems as poor list management decisions in the mid-season trade period could lead to clubs falling behind. So there are many upsides and downsides to it.

So sad to see Jofra suffer the same injury again such a shame for cricket. Its hard to see England have a chance with no Jofra, 40 Jimmy Anderson with a groin niggle just before the series. Australia seem way to classy for England should be a comfortable 5-0 win.

I think you have back David Warner in for the first test, l think he’s earned that right. If he continues to struggle with the right-armer around the wicket then Cameron Bancroft should be the man for the job who dominated domestic cricket in all formats last season.

I would pick a key forward such as Max king, only 22 and will be a force to be reckoned with. Midfielders are too easy to find, and it is much more difficult to find a key forward for the next decade. Ideally a player with great character and leadership would be fantastic for Tasmania.

A lot of talk from England considering that got pumped last ashes. Hopefully we get see Jofra Archer back but l don’t think he’s body will allow him to play a full series possibly one test if lucky. There’s way too many questions marks in Englands squad and l think the Aussies come on top.

I think it’s too early to say if the Saints are serious contenders with them being 8-3 last year. This team has a history of underperforming under pressure and the inability to cope with expectations.

Yes l agree last Saturday night with the Eagles vs Blues and North vs Dees was atrocious. I believe it should a 17-game season with every team playing each other once making it fair for everyone. We can’t have teams play West Coast twice gifting them a great percentage and extra win.

Good point it is a hard situation in a list management point of view but, l think the culture of the club has been a huge issue. Leadership has missing for a long time at the club leading to players leaving. It looks like it’s improving at the moment which is good to see.

Yeah Stokes definitely was not running in 100 percent but credit to him to stepping up when his team needed him. With the series squeezed in just over a month these banged bodies will struggle. That’s where the Aussies might have the edge.
