I think the “hard knocks” series actually spawned the whole liverpool “being” thing.
NRL clubs should open their doors to warts and all TV
That’s my fear – that clubs think like that. If you were doing a mini-series – i think there’d be more value in hearing a coaches pre-game chat than the other rubbish.

I’d back Melbourne to win a comp though without 1 of Slater or Smith. That club shows what culture can do.
Can culture changing coaches survive in the NRL?
Interesting to read those comments as well. Sandow needs to feel like he can just do whatever he wants.
Can culture changing coaches survive in the NRL?
I think at the moment it would even be a massive job for Sticky.
Can culture changing coaches survive in the NRL?
Parra fans must shake their heads at the recruitment and retention policy of the club over the last 10-15 years.

Thanks for all of your comments guys. No shortage of passion for rugby league. I reckon I could’ve picked 4 sides this year with slightly different tweeks. Bit concerned about the one we’ve ended up with, but hopefully i’m wrong.
My NSW State of Origin side
Ricky said he couldn’t train all week – still i’m absolutely stunned by this one as well.
My NSW State of Origin side
Dugan almost swayed me after today. Looks very good. If he can stay fit for more than a couple of months he could be deadly!

Nine tries in 10 games is a top return for a centre though
Jennings at the centre of Origin storm
It’s true. I think he’ll be picked as well. Terribly undermines Ivan Cleary’s decision.
Jennings at the centre of Origin storm
Fair point. Not endorsing Qld’s poaching. Just calling a spade a spade.

4 year deal I think it was. Getting comfortable is always the danger. Especially on massive $$$$

A-League no longer in need of marquee billing
Interesting, but then we may never have an Aussie coach the national team.

Thanks mate – much appreciated. No doubt he has a huge task ahead in Melbourne.

Getting players from the local premier league clubs is a must. I think it’ll happen.
FFA seems to be getting the band back together
Nick – i still think director of football would be the go, but that’s just a hunch.

Lawrie was indeed hugely successful in that area on the CC – he’s a favourite son up there for that. Had a huge amount of time for everyone.

If I had a dollar for every positive news story i’ve had knocked back by a media manager i’d be a very very very very very rich man. It’s a shame really.
