Thankfully… there isn’t any Latin phrase for ‘a tight fitting fluro lycra pants wearing type’ 😱

The Thursday Two-up: Recalibrate, reset, or full steam ahead?

‘Fiddling around while Rome burns…’

Geez, this Latin thingy is getting outta control… it’s on fire! 😛

Ah ha, Tragic… but would Diggeriwi agree? 😛

The Thursday Two-up: Recalibrate, reset, or full steam ahead?

Thanks Bertmon… and respected loyal others! 👍

Firstly, this current RC is a must view… period!

There’s never been a time where reputations count for nought… and, further, that reputations are now being created. New reputations. Some were not obvious to some. Some have been coming. Some needed to reaffirm. And some(one) will have a most deserved rep come the final whistle. Arise da Bok… as absolute credibility is now there for the taking?!

The once were almighty ABs… well, it’s that bottom of the housing cycle thingy. Interest rates and inflation are biting. The governor of the reserve has not treated you well.

The injury riddled culled Wallaby mob… the test of depth, culture and a new coach is surely being tested. Test match tested. It’s very much trust team time while in the trenches of adversity.

Those meat eating passionate Bargies… need less passion, more discipline and solid structure. Digest those things and you will be most welcome at the table. It’s there… just needs to be plated.

The RC has never been so good… times they are changing! 👍 🏉 😊

It’s Greek not Latin though…

ANALYSIS: Why the Wallabies are looking towards their tall timber

Obviously Late you didn’t get the memo… it’s Latin week. Intelligere?

All good, Nutt… as this is an opinion site afterall. 👍

Hey, does one have to use all your bench players?

Entrecejo?! 😛

Be buggered eh… and pity those poor souls presently grazing the lush green in NZ!?! 😔

Thanks Nicholas… and what a giraffe old Steve ‘Skylab” Cutler was for the Wallaby.

Played a chunk, throughout the years, against Steve at schoolboy level. So was always happy to see his rugby career evolve and eventually for him to gain Wallaby selection. And, fair to say, there’s a lot of us out there who did similar… dreaming along the way, I could’ve been a contender too! 😛

My little indulgence was I was one of the few that could compete with him in the lineout.. suffice to say we had some ding dong battles. I wasn’t as tall as him but luckily I had some serious ups… hence more B/Ball than rugby after school. 😁

Wallaby lineout presently looks the goods… and with more improvement to come could be a serious weapon! 👍

Just in case… it was needed?!

Rugby News: 'Phenomenal' Quade tipped to rise again, how Hoops reacted to win, Tahs sign powerful Fijian, Bok banned

Thanks Nutt, and I hear you… but if we look at last w’end’s game the Wallaby were behind on the scoreboard around the 66th min mark. From memory that’s when the rest of our bench came on or there abouts… and imo made a real difference. Leota, again imo, did OK in the approx ten mins he was there. Nothing fantastic but he had an impact.

I’m also not sold the Bok example is the way the Wallaby should go (earlier and in groups)… as da Bok probably have the deepest and best bench of all teams. It’s almost a luxury for them, more than a necessity… 😁 😛

Missed the opportunity to give yourself a ‘like’… which is ffs absolute rubbish! 😛

Paul D… it will be fascinating albeit telling to see who Rennie picks for the second Bargie game.
My thoughts are he will go with Hodge at 10… but maybe not and selects Noah with the same 6:2 split bench. Hodge being able to cover most of the backline.

Either way it’ll be OK with me, for this game only, as our forwards will be better/ more settled after the first encounter. But next it’s da Bok, thankfully at home, although it’s a two game series against the world champs, unlike those Bargies?! 😁

Thanks Bertmon… what an absolute bummer for Quade, let alone the Wallaby and we supporters. I ain’t no doctor but at his age, the type of injury, the RWC being next year, getting Test match fit… well, them there are some ducks in a row eh!?

I can’t see him being right… and I wouldn’t be relying on his recovery. Nor the pressure inadvertently that would be put on him getting right before the RWC. Too much. Sadly. Next?

For mine, this QC thingy could be a blessing in disguise… we are now forced to look for the next heir apparent. Reckon we’ve just enough time too. Just.

It’s not a Tah thing… but I like Donaldson. He’s got a nose for the position. But if not, then Noah. Regardless of who gets the gig it’ll mean squat all to the Wallaby success if our piggies can’t/don’t do their thing. You can’t have one without the other!

The Wrap: Two different ways to skin a cat as Wallabies and Springboks draw first blood

Good win to the Wallaby eh, Biggest! 👍

The Wrap: Two different ways to skin a cat as Wallabies and Springboks draw first blood

I hear what your saying, soapit… and I’m not one to usually pick on Refs but this guy imo isn’t up to test level. Test rugby level.

And my point is no so much about his poor performance but more the fact that the RC is an important comp… and supporters and players alike deserve better than this mediocrity.

The Wrap: Two different ways to skin a cat as Wallabies and Springboks draw first blood

Morning G… and thanks for this Wrap after the w’end’s games in Argentina and SA. 👍

In Mendoza for the Wallaby and Bargies game you state… ‘Even though there were 30 penalties blown in total there was a sense of Adamson enjoying himself and, unlike the players who were exhausted at full-time, still having a few more left in him!’

Agree and not wanting to go all negative… but my sense was this Ref must had been gifted a brand new whistle prior to the match by his mother. And didn’t he love blowing it?!

Add to that his positioning in and around general play where he was constantly in the player’s way… has lead me to ask this question; why do we (supporters and players alike) have suffer such mediocre officiating for such a significant game in what’s a major annual competition? And who can I blame? 😛

Thanks Tony… likewise, a really big thanks to the ROAR’s 3 Amigos for their efforts in putting together the ‘instant reaction podcast’. Loving it! 👍 🏉 😊
