Fastest undies in NZ!

It’s been worrying me since the lions series, ABs under late Hansen and foster have not progressed at all, in this area
MATCH REPORT: Springboks edge All Blacks in one of the GREATEST Tests
Actually worked in ABs favour, as no time wasted in penalty kick. Allowed ABs to score straight after!
MATCH REPORT: Springboks edge All Blacks in one of the GREATEST Tests
Good to see hooper’s competitive instinct wouldn’t let lavanini take the record for most test cards received!
MATCH REPORT: Kellaway hat trick helps Wallabies close Rugby Championship on a high
Aumua had big boss to fill, Samisoni had been a relegation.
Odd to have both DMac and mo’unga on the bench, three small Beck’s. I’d have left DMac out for Jordan or Tupaea
All Blacks team: Weber at halfback, ALB returns, Mo'unga on bench as NZ chase 'Grand Slam'
It’s been mentioned by the coaches, along with players not doing their role at the ruck. Part of it was excellent bok pressure, but some was just inaccuracy in requirements.
I expect a much improved performance this week, some of those players had not come against that intensity & focus, some not even played a SA team at all. They also will adjust to the fact that the kicks will even come in or just outside the 22, something that’s new aside from chips
The Wrap: Tense, gripping clash of styles falls the All Blacks' way
24 turnovers conceded, not sure about just the handling errors tho. Working back 24 -2 free kicks -6 rucks lost -4 lineouts lost = 12. But that doesn’t seem enough!
The Wrap: Tense, gripping clash of styles falls the All Blacks' way
“For such hard, fearsome men, these Springboks get injured a lot; six times requiring a stoppage in this match, compared to zero for the All Blacks. They are not proficient tiers of their shoelaces. Referee Pearce will today be hoarse from his constant calling for the Springboks to step forward and form the lineout, urging them – but not using sanctions – to keep the game moving along”
As long as this part is addressed by the next ref, I’ll be happy
The Wrap: Tense, gripping clash of styles falls the All Blacks' way
I have absolutely no problem with the Boks game plan and tactics. If executed perfectly is very hard to beat. But what I loathe is the cheating with stoppages. Going down at every so in play with fake injuries is against the spirit and laws of the game. The ref should play stoppages like during play, if you go down ‘injured’, tough play carries on. And if you don’t get to your set piece quickly, free kick to the other side. Unlike soccer, we don’t stop for every injury, and the boks are like a bunch of soccer players with their faking of injuries.
'Predictable, boring and primitive' or a 'win for the Springboks'? Media reaction to Boks v All Blacks
Boks world champs, ABs are number 1 team in the world. Pretty simple, if the ABs lose tomorrow, boks are both.
Coach’s Corner Issue 27: Who is really the number one team in the world?
“I believe there is no question that South Africa were right to leave an ailing Super Rugby and head north however … It has also won them a World Cup, and that fact will not change even if the World Rugby rankings do.”
Um the books were playing in super rugby when they won the cup and got number 1. It’s since they’ve left they’ve gone downhill
Coach’s Corner Issue 27: Who is really the number one team in the world?
That is very Cheika, with his ‘playing the Ozzie Way’, never was it tactics it was always execution. And he was a incorrect as Neinaber is now
'Bring back that wild waterboy': The Boks are 'sick' and maybe a return to Rassie is the only cure
Same position as ‘The Aura’

“post-moretums” is that what you get the day after having a dodgy kebab after a few dozen tinnies watching the game?

Yeah that’s my thoughts too. There maybe a lot of egg on faces of many media outlets comes Monday lunchtime (UK time)
All Blacks regain world No.1 ranking from Boks ahead of their historic 100th match
It’s ridiculous that the ABs have the number 1 ranking, if it is the case. Because the only way enough points were taken by the ABs is if the game was counted as an Argentinian home game. If that is the case, one of the boks game Vs Oz, in Oz, would be a SA home game.

He must have a good offer overseas for next season
'There's so many guys OS who could play for Australia': Kellaway says 'scrap Giteau Law'
Very much a B/C team, with only one first choice player in his correct position, moody, and he’s on return from injury. Ardie and Reiko first choice but not in their current position (8 and wing, ALB ahead of Ioane). Jordie could be argued as first choice, but foster seems to prefer DMac at 15. Outside of them, many player 3rd or even 4th choices, many also is their first, m second, or third start.
Our tight five will have to work hard versus a hurting Argentina. Sotutu especially needs to improve on an insipid year. DMac needs to run straight.
I think this will be a messy, dull test, but the ABs should win
'We're expecting a huge response': All Blacks make 11 changes and brace for Pumas revenge mission
Thanks nick, I was bemused by the scrum calls. I have no knowledge of those dark arts, but the calls looked weird to me. Another thing that really annoyed me in that game was many of the bok ruck penalties or turn overs, there was no clear release (or release at all) and elbows/forearms on the deck. Very much in favour of the defending team, incorrect as I understand the recent WR edicts. Maybe it’s a ranting Rassie reaction, but I hope that the wallabies and ABs take note, and use this to their advantage too. I’d prefer the correct application of the law, but I doubt that will happen with NH refs
Coach’s Corner Issue 26: Is Dave Rennie thinking outside the 'Boks?
Excellent write up, When Cooper gpot cleaned out in the opening minutes but got the pass away, I immediately thought of Squidge’s video talking about the exact defensive hit by Am that you pointed to.
The second example does show the limitations of Kerevi, he had the opportunity to get the ball away in the tackle (or before) his arms were free and there was a 2 on 1 outside him. A better distributing 2nd 5 would’ve got that away for a probably score. That saying, his pass for the Wallabies one and only try was sweet – he just needs to do it more. Still he passed it 8 times to Allende’s 3! Most of his passes were short to forwards, rather than to 13 or outside backs, IIRC.
Rugby Championship turnaround: What a difference a Quade makes
It maybe wrong but that is the law
“ The law may upset reason but reason may never upset the law”
The Wrap: Quade Cooper finds the sweet spot to bring the Wallabies home
They also allow the defending team far too much leeway at the ruck. Many of the penalties against Oz were from a Bok that didn’t release (let alone clearly release!), didn’t suport their weight (elbows on the ground more often than not), and weren’t actually on the ball (NZ OZ refs want a lift/attempted lift of the ball). From the laws the NZ/Oz reffing is correct, and recent WR guidance underlined that. However the natural NH way of reffing, powered by the fear of being on the receiving end of a Rassie Rant (TM), means the defenders have an unfair and incorrect advantage.
I hope both the Wallabies and ABs have taken note of the English refs terror of correctly enforcing the ruck rules, and use it to their advantage as much as the Boks and Puma have.
The Wrap: Quade Cooper finds the sweet spot to bring the Wallabies home
Late change. ALB out with hammy, Reiko in, Quinn Tupaea on the bench
Retallick to captain All Blacks vs Pumas
Proving, once again, that backs are tougher than forwards. Mo’unga can hack it, Sam can’t.
… Runs for the exit…
White-Locked out: Quarantine forces All Blacks skipper to miss Rugby Championship
