Bradley Carnegie Thorn is a winner. As a player, as a coach and across two codes no-one has achieved what Brad Thorn has. Others…
Great question! potentially yes as the home crowd factor has been removed and big time players love big time crowds so maybe not as much energy in the stadium

fair call will be a great back up if one of them gets injured. On the plus side it is great to see they are just not throwing him in and giving him time to find his feet. He will get confidence from that so when he is a starter he will be electric. P.S As a lifelong tahs fan would love to see him in the sky blue but either way can’t wait to see what he can bring.
Super Rugby AU Round 2 team line-ups: Waratahs reveal new skipper as Vunivalu set for first Reds appearance
After reading this it is hard not to agree with why the reds are such an attacking force. Great article thanks Nick
Why Jim McKay is the best attack coach in Australian rugby
Can’t wait to see Vunavalu playing will be interesting to see how he deals with the code change, he has the speed physicality and athleticism but let’s see how he deals with the structures. His early days in Fiji will give home a good grounding but it has been a while. My money is he will be a superstar

The GOAT: Who really is the greatest athlete of our generation?
Think yo may have been one of the very few to take the point of the article thank you
The GOAT: Who really is the greatest athlete of our generation?
Yeh good point he changed the way spinners were regarded and made it bloody hard to follow him
The GOAT: Who really is the greatest athlete of our generation?

The GOAT: Who really is the greatest athlete of our generation?

The GOAT: Who really is the greatest athlete of our generation?
Hi guys some brilliant and insightful comments thank you. The ones you have mentioned are all brilliant athletes in their own right and had the article just been on sporting prowess I would agree with everyone.
The key element was who had the most influence in changing their sport. Athletes who do that transcend their sport. Agree with Tiger that they had to increase course sizes. And was remiss not to mention Serena’s Williams she changed the landscape of women’s tennis and brought parity with men on pay.

If your team is on the receiving end, a la the Reds on Friday night, it is brilliant., If you are n the other side, e.g. the Mariners, it sucks. Being neutral it is hard to se how it has made the game better. The three on Friday night were appalling, well at least the first two, the last one was technically correct but given the flow of the body hard to justify. It was not brought in to scrutinise everything just the really bad offside calls or when a ball went across the stripe o that blatant non penalty like the infamous Italian flop against Australia at the world cup. This weekend showed the flaws, the checks were not consistent with the law and decisions should have been overturned but either way someone would have knots in their knickers.
VAR technology is the worst thing to ever happen to football
Great comments RW. I agree he has the best of the new breed coming through and is getting them to play some wonderful footy. Can’t wait to se his development over the next few years
Is Brad Thorn our next Wallabies coach?
Fair call for sure. I believe it is more about the change he has brought about, succeed takes time, crusaders took a while before becoming a dominant force but they had a plan and stick with it. I believe he is building something exceptional, they will win this year, and next year when it all comes back together they will be a force.

Cheers Tony, happy to be a part of it always good to hear others thoughts on topics!!

Your right with the same few teams in each league, jus glad it is not the same team over and over. With the seven different champions that was meant to display that over the last ten years the league has changed hands in seven seasons basically it was real to Barca or Barca to real with one athletico thrown in
