Cummins must be dropped. His t20 bowling is not great at all. He was awful in ipl and has mostly struggled with his one style(pace) bowling.

When you have a coach like Langer and a captain like Paine, anything is possible.

Inglis will be a big improvement with the gloves atleast. And right on Agar. He is a good no. 8 but unfortunately that 98 he scored on his test debut still on people’s mind. But the reality is that he hasn’t scored a single international 50 since then and only averages around 23 in shield cricket. Hardly the numbers you wantnfrom your no 7 or 6.

It was horrendous, I watched the entire game. Some of these guys just can’t do it, i.e Henriques, Wade, Carey, Mcdermott. It’s not just this series, just look at their international records.

They picked 11 bowlers in the squad and didn’t use most of them. There were 7 or 8 quicks for tours in spinning condition and no reserve bat.

Australia has been losing mate, tests, t20s, doing fairly better in odis but still overall very disappointing. Jeff, please, for god’s sake don’t defend Wade. Just look at his career across all formats and his keeping is terrible.
He is no Gilchrist or Dhoni as if he is irreplaceable. Inglis is the man, Phillipe is another option. I would play a 24 year old non performer over a 34 year old. Because that young player has upside and can get better, Wade won’t because this is his limit. He won’t get better now at 35.
Handscomb is another option. He was actually the keeper of the t20 team and doing well. But for some unknown reason he was ousted for Carey and we have seen how Carey and then Wade has performed since then.
