I like it. Think he would thrive in a new environment, under a coach who was a successful No.7

Pearce, Brooks and Taylor? Slim pickings as NRL battlers consider halfback options

WOW!!

Pearce, Brooks and Taylor? Slim pickings as NRL battlers consider halfback options

Change of scenery could be just the thing he needs (coach, town, teammates, system etc)

Hastings at 13, 6, 7 or 14 is a good result. He’s class. Really turned the corner since going overseas!

I can’t say I have seen enough from Lam that has me convinced, he is a better back-up than what most teams already have.

Pearce, Brooks and Taylor? Slim pickings as NRL battlers consider halfback options

Change of scenery could be good for all parties. Either that or have him at 6 and a traditional half guiding the team and let Brooks create and not game manage??

Do you mean in my article or by News Corp and Triple M?

Me too. Strange decision.

Utility players in demand: Who is your club chasing?

Meaney is a wonderful player but he’s a 1 or a 2. Or he’s not a six or a nine. Nikorima, however!

Utility players in demand: Who is your club chasing?

Absolutely it is. That’s why so many clubs are specifically chasing these players

I’d take him for that. Handy player. Hope he is used right. Was one fire at the Dogs!

In that scenario – Lamb and Hutch are back in NSW Cup.

Your memory is far greater than mine

Are Fox reporting how much they have spent on Mbye? If he’s coming cheap, I’m buying!

Utility players in demand: Who is your club chasing?

That being said, most teams carry a utility on the bench for cover. You know you’re in the 17 each week. You are paid more than a fringe player as teams are specifically chasing a utility but no, you’re not getting superstar money. It’s the cost of being a jack of all trades but not a master in any set one.

Utility players in demand: Who is your club chasing?

I wrote the article yesterday. Cows hadn’t announced the deal for Muz but those other clubs listed were keen on landing him. So now, where do they turn their attention to seeing as they’ve missed out?

He just re-signed with the Knights

Fair point Paul. I guess it comes down to if your club has developed talent or needs to be propped up by others.

100% look at what he did for Glasby. King would thrive there

Rapa chased the $$$ before. Can’t blame him if he does again.

If they can get him for $300k, he’s a quality get. Look at his output vs some of the players on the market. Can he do a job? And do it better than who they currently have? That’s what Red V need to ask.
