In that scenario – Lamb and Hutch are back in NSW Cup.

Utility players in demand: Who is your club chasing?

Your memory is far greater than mine

Utility players in demand: Who is your club chasing?

Are Fox reporting how much they have spent on Mbye? If he’s coming cheap, I’m buying!

Utility players in demand: Who is your club chasing?

That being said, most teams carry a utility on the bench for cover. You know you’re in the 17 each week. You are paid more than a fringe player as teams are specifically chasing a utility but no, you’re not getting superstar money. It’s the cost of being a jack of all trades but not a master in any set one.

Utility players in demand: Who is your club chasing?

I wrote the article yesterday. Cows hadn’t announced the deal for Muz but those other clubs listed were keen on landing him. So now, where do they turn their attention to seeing as they’ve missed out?

He just re-signed with the Knights

Fair point Paul. I guess it comes down to if your club has developed talent or needs to be propped up by others.

100% look at what he did for Glasby. King would thrive there

Wonderful re-signing by the Chooks. So much potential.

Rapa chased the $$$ before. Can’t blame him if he does again.

Money ballers: These 23 off contract stars are the value buys in NRL player market

If they can get him for $300k, he’s a quality get. Look at his output vs some of the players on the market. Can he do a job? And do it better than who they currently have? That’s what Red V need to ask.

Money ballers: These 23 off contract stars are the value buys in NRL player market

Absolutely star is overused. For what it’s worth, I did not write the headline. That being said, some of these guys like Ferguson once were stars. I wouldn’t necessarily label him that anymore but he’s still a quality player and will be a wonderful get for whoever signs him.

Money ballers: These 23 off contract stars are the value buys in NRL player market

Everyone on the list has value at the right price. Agreed re Watson. At the right price, he’s a great get.

Money ballers: These 23 off contract stars are the value buys in NRL player market

That’s where value for money stems from. If you can D and make metres and not cost a fortune, they could be a handy pick up

Money ballers: These 23 off contract stars are the value buys in NRL player market

I agree. Napa is off contract but not at the top of my wish list, if I’m a club.
