Well early on before they got their tries Queensland had opportunities to score early. Even though it was 10-0, QLD didn’t let it get worse. But just because the points and results didn’t go the way early of QLD they did play better outside of the period NSW scored 2 tries. Over the majority of the game QLD played better than NSW
State of Origin Game 2 preview: The Blues have everything to lose
Yeah it was frustrating watching them force the play making errors and they tried to make a try scoring opportunity in every set during the second half. Hopefully they keep it simple, run it straight and hard, earn the right to go sideways and get more repeat sets
Queensland displayed their Origin culture
Yeah they have done well and credit to everyone involved with preparing the Maroons
Queensland displayed their Origin culture
Hey Nat, I did say that the Blues had the more experienced and talented team and they did. But i also mentioned at the end of that article that the potential for a let down was possible and in the end it happened. “If the Maroons can jump the Blues early, applying pressure to make the Blues work and earn a result, anything could happen” was my closing statement and from the first knock on, the Blues were going to be in a dogfight. This article is more of a credit to Queensland that no matter what line up they trot out, they are no pushovers.
Regarding the lineup of NSW, definitely their 17 players was possibly their best 17 they could put out. Are you suggesting that they should stick to their guns but this time come out with a more focused mindset to the game?
My solution is one of Walker or Keary is gone and possibly move Wighton to five-eighth while bringing on Lomax into the centres. Just someone more suitable to matchup against Gagai. Wighton was burned many times. Regarding Walker, I believe he should get a good crack against the side where Gagai isn’t defeding. He will be rocks and diamonds no question but who else is there unless you move Wighton to 5/8 as I mentioned. There will definitely be changes made but it will be interesting to see what is officially changed
Queensland displayed their Origin culture
You’d certainly think he’d be gone. Leash is getting short and yeah Pochettino made a return to Sky Sports. He could coincidentally come back very soon
Games to watch out for in Week 8 of the EPL
What do you value better, talent or fit? If this New South Wales team was up against the dominant decade of Queensland would you rather see the Blues have a line up like this where they just chuck the best players on or would you rather see them choose players that are specialists at their position? For instance, New South Wales in 2014 had Hayne at fullback instead of the wings and centres which I think is his best position with Jennings and Tupou on one end the Morris Brothers on the other end.
I think depending on the situation like now against a severely weaker QLD side squishing in talent is fine. But against the well-oiled Maroons from 2006, maybe chucking in talent where possible might not be the best option
State of Origin Game 1 preview: The Blues have more experience and talent
Yeah he easily had the fresher tyres and could’ve went till the end. I guess Racing Point’s concern was whether the guys under him would go for fresher tyres but overall should’ve stuck it out.
Major takeaways from the 2020 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix
Yeah Bottas has been hard done by many times for sure. What about when a virtual safety car popped up briefly for Lewis when pitted and ended when he left? What a luckbox he was there
Major takeaways from the 2020 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix
Oh 100% i mean as my rhetorical questions at the end would suggest, QLD could just come firing with nothing to lose and catch the Blues off-guard. If NSW lose Game 1, can they bounce back from the pressure of losing with arguably a stronger side. Who knows. There are definitely no guarantees but logically you would back the Blues with all things being equal
State of Origin Game 1 preview: The Blues have more experience and talent
Yeah great observation. It’s essentially talent vs fit overall. NSW looks like they’ve built a fantasy team just slotting best players available but how they actually gel will be interesting to see.
State of Origin Game 1 preview: The Blues have more experience and talent
Thats true. But then again, if the Blues are vulnerable to the point where a last minute miracle could potentially be their undoing, NSW don’t deserve to win at all. But obviously yes it has happened before regarding your point of them taking the opposition too lighly.
State of Origin Game 1 preview: The Blues have more experience and talent
Yeah, i look at QLD’s squad and I just find it hard to see where they can generate anything outside of their forwards. If the halves have an off night, even the Blues playing below average should still come out on top.
State of Origin Game 1 preview: The Blues have more experience and talent
Yeah thats one of my thoughts that NSW might be overconfident but I still find that NSW have so much firepower that over the course of 80 minutes they should have enough to beat the Maroons. Whereas with QLD, if Munster and Cherry Evans have a poor game, they have no chance outside of a few forwards carrying them
State of Origin Game 1 preview: The Blues have more experience and talent
It certainly will be an interesting juggle. Im thinking surely he retires and goes out on a high. But who knows. Does he leave with Bellamy at the end of 2021?
My major midweek takeaways from the 2020 NRL grand final
Yeah numbers can definitely be flawed and I didn’t really look at the numbers so if the data represents that then great! But yeah going from the eye test, outside of kicking 2 goals he didn’t really seem to impact much overall
My major midweek takeaways from the 2020 AFL grand final
Yep and also I’d love for Albon to re-join Gasly in Alpha Tauri and see those two do battles while someone like Hulkenburg joins Red Bull to partner Max

My major midweek takeaways from the 2020 AFL grand final
Bruno Fernandes vs Jorginho – penalty specialists. i definitely feel a penalty will shape that game. Yeah Newcastle could have a chance, Wolves arent the best at the moment!
Games to watch out for in Week 6 of the EPL
Yeah they have earned the right to be where they are. But I guess would you have predicted that after coming 10th last season, the Panthers would be in this position? It’s amazing to see really and they’ve been so good. But Penrith can’t drop the ball here now. Melbourne won’t beat themselves you’re right
My 2020 NRL grand final preview
Yeah thats true this one game throws everything out the window. I thought it’d be good to mention but yeah Melbourne isn’t a regular team in this situation of Finals footy. Would not surprise me if Penrith are thrown right off their game and don’t look themselves like they have the whole season
My 2020 NRL grand final preview
Yeah i think Richmond pull it off but I’d love to see Geelong win so Gary Ablett can have one last championship
Richmond Tigers vs Geelong Cats: AFL grand final preview
Yeah I expect Kevin de Bruyne to step up and carry City to a win against Arsenal unfortunately for you. 3-1 sounds reasonable
Games to watch out for in Week 5 of the EPL

Yeah I agree Tim Paine he’s just not performing at all with the bat. Still quite lucky to have a spot I reckon. It’s been a while since Australia has gotten a solid captain’s knock
Can India take down the Aussies with Steve Smith and David Warner involved?
Yeah I’m excited to see how Nathan Brown goes. If he can come on and energise the team and get them going forward, that will be a job well done for them.
