France went from a powerhouse to be knocked off to the prophecy of a 2-1 series win being realized…
yep ok

'No longer a leader': Do Wallabies fans need to adjust their expectations?

You seem to be hell bent on ignoring the fact that this is not even close to the best French side that could have been sent… seemingly it’s at odds with your narrative. Even your rankings reference, what with one whole side separating the two, is hardly evidence of your David vs Goliath story.
In any case, Wobblies wobbled past a second rate French side under some of the most difficult conditions for a touring side ever.
Take the win, it was a good one, but playing the pauper when it isn’t justified is a little embarrassing.

restuctutured

how the hell did that escape spell check

'No longer a leader': Do Wallabies fans need to adjust their expectations?

what do you see replacing imperialist cricket, imperialist RL, imperialist netball, imperialist hockey, imperialist soccer, imperialist tennis, imperialist golf, imperialist Commonwealth and Olympic games….
AFL and Two Up?

'No longer a leader': Do Wallabies fans need to adjust their expectations?

“Powerhouse” that hasn’t made a WC semi final in a decade and is very, very far from being their best 23…All things considered, Aust fans should have expected to win this series on home soil fairly comfortably.

2nd 15 “powerhouse” side

I hope you mean Matt Cooper

VOTE: Wallabies player ratings vs France

lol… so much effort for such a lame result…

Obliteration: All Blacks raise the bat with record thumping of Tonga

you’ve some deep wounds… surely this years Bledisloe will help you to heal

Obliteration: All Blacks raise the bat with record thumping of Tonga

Probably been mentioned, but have you compared SR finals including an Aust side to SR AU?
If you want to know what it is the public really switches onto seems this would be necessary..,
For instance, Reds vs Cru 2011 compared to Reds vs Bru SRAU 2021… I had a look, pretty obvious by the numbers.
Seems the only point to make is that RA just needs to get better.

Super Rugby AU thrashes the Trans-Tasman competition in rugby's ratings war

slow news day…

Alleged hair-pulling incident lands QLD skipper in hot water

L Ron Hubbard ? ah no you mean that bloke in the spotlight now.
For what its worth the ABs will never be what they have been in the past, either in potential or results – way too many things working against them now.

Why are we not excited about the naming of the All Blacks squad?

do you have an example of that working anywhere, ever?

Do you prefer Sean Maloney? The guy sounds like he’s been doing magic shows at retirement homes.

Stop complaining that Super Rugby Aotearoa is too intense and boring

looking forward to your next article… the bounce back is almost the most intriguing for me.

ok…
hope the rest of your day is good

Why are we not excited about the naming of the All Blacks squad?

Again you’re trying to put words into my mouth – expert?
But as a general rule concerning a side and a coach I’d pay them the minim respect by knowing all the players selected.

I never suggested geographical location was a prerequisite did I?
I can criticise Jacinda Ardern from Australia with a reasonable amount of political knowledge and be more right than someone living in NZ.
Certainly you can, and you are more likely to be correct if you have a general understanding of the topic and follow the day to day events… pretty much what I suggested.
I’m sure you’ll find it hard to disagree that your criticisms were more founded when you followed the ABs well enough to know of every player selected, seemingly not the case anymore.

Why are we not excited about the naming of the All Blacks squad?

I wasn’t directing that at you personally, a general observation. And I think you missed the point, I’ll try to put it simpler.
The more you know and follow a side the more astute and reasonable your criticism….

Why are we not excited about the naming of the All Blacks squad?

Not at all, being a “fan” is what enables us to criticize with impunity. But it is our level of support or the degree to which we follow a team that defines us as supporters, and the legitimacy of our criticism.

Why are we not excited about the naming of the All Blacks squad?

Certainly with Gus, while his opinions are often valid his delivery usually overly dramatic. His pregame Origin spiels akin to an impromptu feminist monologue at a thespian open mic night.

Why are we not excited about the naming of the All Blacks squad?

Seems you only truly support NZ teams when they are at the height of international success, hoping for your sake NZs Curling team doesn’t make an unheralded run towards world domination. 😂

Why are we not excited about the naming of the All Blacks squad?

Agree, check out the serve Gus gave QLD on that selection – its on YouTube

Why are we not excited about the naming of the All Blacks squad?

so so…. players in NZ know each others game so well and often times trials are dour and non-eventful. I’m sure whether consciously or otherwise 90% seems to be the extent of their effort .

Why are we not excited about the naming of the All Blacks squad?

Even before 1999 SF, Cullen was “blooded” into the position, Umaga’s league history should’ve meant he was the obvious choice
