Hide-and-seek has been a big part of the fabric of rugby league, and no one should understand that more than Dragons CEO Ryan Webb.…
I dunno. If I were into conspiracies, and I occasionally am, my spidey senses would be tingling here ..
The real story here is drug abusing cross gender pugilism enthusiast M Jennings returning to play at the highest level to much back-slapping and glorious pageantry.
Mitchell was out of line, no doubt. But aren’t we burying the lead here? Jennings is a waaaay bigger story, surely.
NRL News: Jennings can 're-write story' as Robbo backs 2024 NRL return, Abdo scalds Latrell
Played centre or FB in QCup. Until Walsh exploded, I always expected him to be the long term FB. I’m glad he’s coming good on the centres. He could be a less grubby Hodges.
No.1 gun in NRL: Reece is the word at Broncos as star fullback rips Rabbitohs to shreds with lightning quick attack

No.1 gun in NRL: Reece is the word at Broncos as star fullback rips Rabbitohs to shreds with lightning quick attack
Everything about that play was top shelf… Except that it was sooo early in the tackle count.
I don’t have hardly any hair as it is. I don’t need that stress in my life ..
No.1 gun in NRL: Reece is the word at Broncos as star fullback rips Rabbitohs to shreds with lightning quick attack
Broncos have a lot of work to do, in my view.
Defence on the edges was often poor, particularly young Riki. When he’s on, I love to watch him, but I was concerned by a couple of efforts last night leading to points. Hetherington had feet for hands, but I hope that is just a blip….
Broncos are playing exciting football, but in the first half, they just looked so impatient. At 12 all, we finally went back to basics, et voila, the system worked again.
Willison needs to get blooded sooner rather than later. Marty is a decent rotation player, but Willison is the business…
The Cobbo/Mariner combo could be special…

Read the transcript of the submissions. I thought it made sense.
'I am really sorry': Leniu cops HUGE ban as NRL judiciary hands down verdict for ‘monkey’ racial abuse at Mam
Wanting to apologise in person is the right thing to do. But nothing Leniu has done up until this point would suggest this was his idea.
Shock twist in racism saga as Mam responds to Leniu's apology for monkey taunt
Dunno, but I’m sure someone should look at the calender, and make the suspension long enough to cover both the trip to Suncorp, and the next Indigenous Round. Work back from there, at the very least.
NRL News: Leniu pleads guilty to monkey racial slur, apologises to Mam - 'I said the word but I didn't mean it in a racist way'
Spencer Leniu after the whistle, “It’s all just fun and games out on the field”.
I think that’s called the ‘Fletcher’ defence.
'NRL better deal with this s--t', says Latrell: Mam accuses Leniu of 'monkey' racial slur as Roosters outmuscle Broncos
I think he’s great injury cover for an edge backrower. But I’d take some convincing before he starts training with the top 30 squad regularly…
I’ve got him in the ‘kerosene lantern’ class. Great to have if the lights go out, but there’s always a chance it’ll burn down the house if used on the reg…

I’m a big fan of young Laurie. Has a real go, doesn’t shirk the tough stuff.

“I have no doubt we were on the cusp of turning it around,” he told the Herald.
I think that’s the rub. Publicly, Mr Hagipantelis has been riding that cusp for a looooong time.
Be interesting to see what the new jersey looks like.

No, they aren’t vertically challenged. There’s a massive divergence of size and shape, largely influenced by the various regions. Watch the Fiji vs PNG Pacific Bowl and take a look at the front row.
Using the NRL as a political football for your Pacific solution is a dumb idea, Albo - and a waste of taxpayers' money
“Let’s also take into account when hosting the 2018 APEC summit, PNG bought 40 Maserati’s for officials who never used them. There’s about 15 roads that these can be driven on in Port Moresby.”
As a current resident of Port Moresby, 15 is an outrageous over statement! 😛
The bloke behind all that is an erstwhile Australian with a very checkered history…

There was at least one off field issue with Curran… I’ve always liked the way he played. High tempo, high impact in attack.

Cricket World Cup Power Rankings: Forget Dutch destruction, 'spineless' Poms still deserve last spot
I will reserve my opinion until Brendan MacCullum has been consulted.
Forget the spirit of the game - World Cup 'timed out' farce is a failure of basic common sense
No doubt… But it’s still a bit of a worry for everyone else that our best hope of overcoming this team is that someone goes out injured, or a couple of them endure bad days at the same time.
To the extent that they heavily rely on plan A – it’s a pretty good plan!
Kohli equals Tendulkar with birthday ton as Proteas start World Cup choke early with horrendous collapse
Only five frontline bowlers which will be exposed on a bad day – I agree to an extent, but the quality of this Indian bowling unit is demonstrated by the fact that Shami wasn’t in the first XI at the start of the WC, and they still have a pretty handy spinner in the squad who can’t get a game…
I really thought this was going to be a ding dong battle leading into the finals. This Indian team is imperious…

Really great coaching from Madge. All week, the message was that they were close, a few tweeks and the tide would turn.
Yeo was good for us, Val had a decent second half, Edwards was solid in defence, but that’s as much as I can say. I’ve never seen such a collectively poor performance.
NZ thoroughly deserved that win, and our boys need to have a good look in the mirror. Losing games.of footy is inevitable, but I’ve never seen such a lack of heart from the Kangaroos.
