The Boks placed too much emphasis on their rushing defence which worked for the first 20 mins until the ABS found some space and got those 2 quick tries. Then they seemed to fall apart missing tackles and leaving themselves open that’s the risk with the rushing defence it can also create gaps which the ABS capitalised on. In the second half they should have realised that wasn’t working and gone to plan B. As good as Kolbe is, he’s not a one man band. Faf’s aimless kicks did them no favours either.

They forgot about the other 60 and that the ABS know how to come back from that kind of deficit. They did it in Pretoria …that’s what great teams do, they find a way to win. Nothing new just your typical English response. Doesn’t matter anyway NZ got the last laugh at least in Japan you will hear a pin drop. In countries where they don’t respect it or even enjoy the cultural side of it, there will always be disdain, irreverence and disrespect and we all know what happens when that happens ????

The reason there wasn’t a sellout was because the venue was changed at the last minute. I’m sure most people would have been happy to go to the second game instead of the first but whatever ….it is what it is in these challenging times and only becomes a yawn if you’re a wally fan. Let’s be honest here, if you’re a real fan you’ll never get tired of your team winning regardless…
