and here we are with Harris having 1000+ season and being left out ????‍♀️.

Warner and Bancroft are floundering

could there be a case for swapping warner with khawaja? at the moment, khawaja’s technique is holding up better to the new ball bowling than warners. If khawaja and bancroft can both face say 40 balls each, then if one gets out, warner hopefully won’t have to worry so much about movement.

Is David Warner becoming Stuart Broad's bunny?

do they use kooks in SA or just aus and NZ?

Warner and Bancroft are floundering

he did it pretty well at 3 in 2015

The curious case of Usman Khawaja

I don’t think you can really compare it to dukes runs in England though. different pitches, weather etc…

Warner and Bancroft are floundering

I just had a look at that 2015 ashes, weird one, only 3 batsmen scored 100’s, Aus had more players at the top of the run stats also. Marsh replacing watto was a big one too, in two innings watto scored more runs than Marsh’s 6 innings.

Warner and Bancroft are floundering

has the kookaburra always been unresponsive? I distinctly remember Gabba, Hobart and SCG tests where first team batting has been skittled for not much due to seaming/swinging ball

Warner and Bancroft are floundering

I’ll take a 30 or 40 from Ussie opening over what warner or bancroft has opened so far. But then who do you put at 3? labu?

Warner and Bancroft are floundering

Burns should have been the one playing, scored 180 in his last test match! albeit against not very good opposition. He seems to be a guy that plays on confidence, and playing for his spot doesn’t help him. When he knew he was secure he played very well. In Khawaja’s defence, the openers aren’t exactly laying a platform for him, he’s come in under intense pressure each time, and outperformed the openers each time.

Warner and Bancroft are floundering

He succeeded in blunting the new ball for 66 deliveries, but never looked comfortable. Warner looks a walking wicket also. They can’t recall burns and I’d say the selectors are a bit reluctant to have 5 left handers in the top 6, so Bancroft is probably safe.

Melbourne Demons vs Sydney Swans: AFL Friday night forecast

Kinda reads like Dory wrote this, the Dees season is similar to Adelaide last year when their wheels fell off. I’m excited for the top 4 teams playing each other this weekend and can only see the premiership winner coming from this 4.

Nick Kyrgios cops hefty fine for Cincinnati meltdown

I guess it shows that if you back a guy in, he will reward you.

Why drawing level with Lillee's Test wickets tally 'doesn't sit well' with Lyon

I wonder what impact Curran will have coming into the team, a left arm bowler will only help Lyon though.

Steve Smith is not the only player in the Australian Test side

it’s not exactly doctoring the pitch when England is known for Swinging/seaming wickets. It’s better to watch than the aussie summer of roads, besides the perth pitch.

Is it green decks or bust for England in the Ashes?

the 2005 series went into september, so it’s hardly unusual for the tests to be played at this time.

I figured saying going with control covered my point.

The Ashes: England vs Australia second Test preview, prediction

I wish Sydney hadn’t signed Longmire long term, he still doesn’t have a plan B when things go badly. The Sydney that turned up against WCE was great to watch, fast ball movement and high pressure.

The AFL coaching massacre isn't done yet

I just hope they get a result this test

Pattinson left out of second Test squad with Starc, Hazlewood included

30 minutes is a long time though, I know at the MCG they have indoor wickets etc where they could warm up then head out do the toss and start. Not sure if they have those facilities at Lords though.

I just hope they don’t have a farcical situation where they’re off for a few hours, come out and then take tea or lunch within an hour.

If Justin Langer is right, Tim Paine doesn’t want to win the toss at Lord's

lol, fair call. Showed it in SA last year, yet to show it here, except in tour games and FC.

Pattinson left out of second Test squad with Starc, Hazlewood included

I know they come out on the field and do the toss, but surely if it is looking like rain or raining, have the toss in the shed or the long room and get the players on the field ASAP.

Unsung player for the Swans.
