Robbie Deans made the Wallabies look worse than they were.

Being an elite coach is reflected by more than just the scoreboard

Actually they should have won the 2007 World Cup if it wasn’t for the cotton wool club and Henry and Hansen and Smith’s and the All Blacks arrogance and they should have lost the 2011 World Cup to Australia if it wasn’t for Robbie Deans who made sure the Wallabies could not succeed.

I would like to ask Laurie why the Brumbies panic so easily when playing Australian teams. When under pressure they start giving away penalty after penalty after penalty like they are so weak mentally they don’t really believe in your coaching and think they can only cheat their way out of it ? What’s up ?

'We are f---ing built on basics': 'Lazy' moments that exposed the Wallabies, and how they can be fixed

I’m not so sure it is a lack of fitness. As Nick Bishop demonstrated under Cheika they were running all over the place trying to cover Foley and Beale’s defensive frailties and fatiguing. At the moment I think they are stressed not knowing and not enjoying what they are doing. They are getting beaten often. The stress of uncertainty and inevitable failure from appalling coaching is what is fatiguing them now.

So when the All Blacks start losing, as they have been, is it the cattle ?

Hamish Stewart is simply too small to be an international 12 but he has the ability to be a terrific 10.

Why has the coaching team under Rennie still got so much to learn ?
If you’re getting paid a million dollars a year you’re meant to be all knowledgeable and fantastic but instead it’s just one big con.

Wtf ?

It’s the kiwi and South African coaches dragging us down that frustrates me. And players who clearly don’t deserve to be there.

The only decent coaches in Australia at the moment are McKellar and Coleman and McKay.

It’s not a crime to want Australian rugby to be better and fulfil it’s potential. Kiwis would love nothing to change and keep us at 9th. They just don’t realize it is dragging them down too.

'Tour of hell': Who looks strong, who looks weak and who's under PRESSURE in the big north vs south battles

And boy didn’t the knives come out for Mitchell and Deans from kiwis when they failed. But apparently Deans was great for the Wallabies according to kiwis. They would say that.

McKenzie was the only high class coach in that group. He got us to within 3 points of winning back the Bledisloe Cup after only 16 months, until Hooper and Beale turned their backs on him to install Cheika.

He couldn’t get another job in NZ after the Chiefs fell apart when Wayne Smith left could he.

Because I’m Australian that’s OK. It’s not a love fest.

Ian Foster is still the All Black coach. He goes well against weak opposition.

'Tour of hell': Who looks strong, who looks weak and who's under PRESSURE in the big north vs south battles

Bringing someone mentally fragile back in such a sport in such a position is the definition of insanity. Unless he just felt like rest.

'Tour of hell': Who looks strong, who looks weak and who's under PRESSURE in the big north vs south battles

Stats are not everything, except to analysts like Nick Bishop. It’s the influence and game changing plays that are more important.

If you set the bar low enough then anything is a positive I guess. We will beat Italy, yahoo !

'Tour of hell': Who looks strong, who looks weak and who's under PRESSURE in the big north vs south battles

It’s not improving because Rennie is urging them to play like kiwis and push the boundaries at each and every opportunity. This negative attitude towards playing a game just does not suit Australians. We want life to be fun and enjoyable.

Personally I think like Paisami, Campbell will eventually get monstered at international level.
Very good Super Rugby player tho.

Or more likely just plain simple out of his depth. Why do we keep hiring coaches who have been kicked out of NZ because they are not up to standard.
Rugby Australia needs to grow up and snap out of it’s inferiority complex.

Geez you’ll be an honorary Aussie soon – ha
