Really, and what do you base that on???

Can Phil Gould really call his time at Penrith a success?

Yeah no

Can Phil Gould really call his time at Penrith a success?

Tell that to Eels, Warriors, Titans and Raiders supporters.

Plus Gould’s measuring of success will be told after he leaves, if the club can function well without him which I believe was his initial intention to build the club of to a point where they can look after themselves will shine through after his departure. If they crumble quickly then Gould influences where a catastrophic failure

Storm to beat the Warriors by 10 or more the rest I have little to no interest in
Incapable of discussing the footy? My 30 plus articles in regards to top ten players, prediction and greatest try articles clearly disputes that comment.

I seriously think he took a dive, should of easily got up from that shot, either he’s too old or weak to keep fighting

Not going to happen

Cam Smith rules out Origin return

Vaultin was the only one to be an actual commentator or caller if you win, sideline commentary doesn’t count. I was referring to those who could not play become commentators like Ray Warren and Andrew voss

Well those who can’t play become commentators

Excluding cheerleaders only removes women from the game

I agree BJ93, the division has not looked this good for about twenty years or so. It’s tyson Holyfield and Lewis all over again and I have the feeling that the brit(AJ) will again be the lasting dominant force

Who's the real world heavyweight champion?

Excellent evaluation of the current status of heavyweight division. Fury is the better boxer while wilder punching power speaks for itself while AJ has had the better and most legit opponents. One issue though Klitschko was never the undisputed champ as he never had the WBC belt. But both AJ and Fury soundly defeated Klitschko but I have to give it to AJ as he won via stoppage where Fury out pointed a off day Klitschko. If Klitschko was even a year younger he would of easily beat Fury.

For mine AJ is the stronger of the three and when he fights Fury he prove that

Who's the real world heavyweight champion?

Fight over Hollow lay dominant for the get go. Ortega put in one of gutsiest performances I have ever seen, took so many clean face shots and still kept going. New women’s flyweight champ schevchencko.

Why you should watch UFC 231 this weekend

Also congratulations on first article being published, your certainly off to a get start. Nice to see another passionate ufc fan turned the passion into privilege.

Why you should watch UFC 231 this weekend

This should be a great ppv but the tradition Nunes New Year’s Eve March against cyborg will most likely be the must watch and best fight of 2018. If not the most anticipated women’s fight of all time

Why you should watch UFC 231 this weekend

The worst thing about fury, does not even look like a boxer. No muscle definition, flabby gut but skills are second to none. I think in a rematch wilder will be heavier and have more weight behind his punches. Don’t think that fury would get up if wilder was 230 lbs

Wilder vs Fury: The fallout one week on

Well now that Choc is finally gone time for a review of his top ten performances in the ring. I did the first article before the second green fight and the roarers comments lead me to believe that a change was needed. Not being one to disappoint the roarers, here is a revised list.

10. Joshua Clottey

There is such as thing as a good lost and this fights proves it. Getting up after being knocked down five times against a former IBF welterweight champ shows a tonne of guts. His gutsiest performance.

9. Tommy Browne

Even though Browne was certainly not world class and moving up in weight Choc’s second round ko of someone near a decade younger than him made a statement he is still capable. Excellent

8. Shane Mosley

Even though Mosley was way over the hil, Choc will go down as the only man to stop Mosley inside the distance

7. Mikkel Kessler

Even though he lost the fight, this was still one of his better fights. Keeping with the world class fighter Choc only lost marginally in this one.

6. Antwun Echols

This bloke fought Bernard Hopkins twice and went the distance the first time pushing Hopkins to the limit. Plus Choc’s first world title victory has to make the list

5. Sven Ottke

Going ten rounds with the undefeated champ in only his tenth fight. Ottke himself would state that after his retirement his fight with Choc was his most difficult. Choc won every round until he was caught by a temple punch that ko him before he hit the ground. Ironically a Mundine hater delight and a lovers delight in the same fight.

4. Danny Green 1

This cemented Chocs place as the number one Super-middleweight in the country. Completely outclassed Green and went on to reclaim his WBA Super-middleweight title.

3. Sergrey Rackenko

Awesome fight, Choc wound the clock back ten years and defeated the WBC silver super-welterweight champ.

2. Geale fight 1

Easily the top bout between two Aussies for a world title in Australia. This epic battle displayed the skill set between the two best boxers of that last generation.

1. Sam soliman fight 2

Still without a doubt his best in ring performance and his best win of his career

A fitting final chapter in the career of Anthony Mundine

Also Millsy it’s going to be very interesting to see where Aussie boxing goes from here. Jeff horn maybe the poster boy for Aussie boxing at the moment but the sport needs more than one name to carry the sport. Mundine has at least five any boxers that kept the sport in the papers and in the news. Geale, Green, Soliman, Dib and to a lesser extend Wood. But now that all these guys are retired, who but Horn can fill the void?
The Maloney twins are doing quite well especially Jason who had his IBF world bantamweight title shot about a month ago and gave the champ a good run for his money, but still fell short of the win. Horn is a long way off winning a world title again or even getting a title shot at anybody. As we discussed he needs to commit to a weight division and fight some real contenders before fighting for a world title again. He could challenge WBO super-welterweight champ Jaime Maungia but him along with IBF/ibo champ Jarrett Hurd or WBC champ Jermell Charlo would send him into next year. Boxing may die another quick death in this country again, if we don’t get another champ soon that can sell papers and tickets

Wilder vs Fury: The fallout one week on

Brook or Amir khan could be the way to go SWW maybe the way to go as your right horn can bully the smaller guys as he did with Pacquaio

Wilder vs Fury: The fallout one week on

Horn needs to stay at middleweight and fight a top contender in that division. According to WBO rules he can challenge the new champ but he would be better fighting a couple even three or four tune up fights against top contenders first over the next twelve months ( but rushton won’t do that he is too impatient) and fight for a title in 2020. Horn is not ready for another title shot just yet and any decent trainer would know that. Horn needs to get out from the “just beats up old men reputation” as all his significant victories are against all over the hill old men, Mundine, Pacquaio, Bailey etc

Wilder vs Fury: The fallout one week on

Three kings? Unsure about that, this is like the highlander series, They can be only one! Fury should win the rematch and defeat Joshua. Just hard for me to look at the guy as a serious boxer with that dad bod of his, he has never looked like a boxer

Wilder vs Fury: The fallout one week on

Hey Millsy, long time between drinks. I absolutely agree with your point that the boxing game needs a new pint system. How can Tyson fury say he won that fight when he got knocked on his arse not once but twice. So called boxing experts had Fury winning all but two rounds but he didn’t knock down Wilder. I thought the whole point of s fight was to knock out the other guy not just win on points???

Mundine v Geale one was a great example of how a too close to call boxing match was split by the knockdown.

What was your thoughts of the horn v Mundine fight.

Wilder vs Fury: The fallout one week on

Well Horn is probably glad he fought Mundine now, ha ha kaching

Horn considers future after Crawford loss, but Mundine not in mind
