To all you arguing over why we lose in India, the answer is really quite simple…We suck

New Zealand vs Australia: Third ODI cricket scores, blog

Why do our selectors insist on sending weakened teams to good ODI nations? in South Africa we basically sent in the Under-nines in terms of bowlers, now we’ve done the same thing with our batting line up.

New Zealand vs Australia highlights: First ODI cricket live scores, blog

Honestly who writes the headlines? that doesn’t seem like a good system, shouldn’t the writer be allowed to write the title to his own article

With no Warner or Smith, can the Kiwis overcome their crippling fear of Australia?

god, what is your problem with the Kiwis. you’re always trying to degrade them in some way, whether its in your articles or in your comments. give it a rest and try to be a little objective

New Zealand vs Pakistan: International cricket, 2nd Test – Day 5 live scores

Voges probably. he’s had success captaining Western Australia, he’s a proven batsman and is popular among his teammates. yes he’s old, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be succesful, look at what Misbah has done with Pakistan

Steve Smith under pressure, but is there any other option?

Australia will beat Sri Lanka and it won’t even be close- (Sri Lanka win the series 3-0)
Eagles Kennedy and Mcgovern can maul Bulldogs- (Bulldogs beat Eagles by 47 points)
Dear me, you’re having a real shocker this year Ronan

Eagles Kennedy and McGovern can maul Bulldogs

I don’t know if this is meant to be a whack for Jonathan Brown or Matthew Pavlich. But i must say i don’t agree with you’re assessment of Pav not being a team-first player. He doesn’t ask for his teammates to kick the ball to him, and he gets as much ball as he does because Freo have never had anyone else to support him, he’s been a one man band in the Dockers forward line for years. considering his age and the lack of tall targets Freo has, i’d say he’s done it tougher than any one forward in the competition for the past few years. But he’s never complaint about it and he’s always been willing to dish the ball off teammates in a better position than he is.
He set up two goals in 350th when he could have had a shot himself. I don’t know what you’re basis for calling him a stats-driven player is, to me he’s always been a great team-man and leader

Matthew Pavlich retires the AFL's modern nobleman

As a perth boy, i want to agree with you Ronan, but without Nic Nat, and with Lycett also going down, i don’t think eagles have got a chance

West Coast Eagles vs Hawthorn Hawks highlights: Eagles by 25

I agree, he’s always yelling at his own players or having a go at the umpires. All his batting success i think has rather gone to his head. The only real reason he’s captain is because there’s no one else for the job, apart from Warner
This is just a suggestion and people can talk it down if they want, but what about Voges’ as captain? He’s popular with the team, he’s got years of experience captaining WA and he’s a prolific scorer. Yes he’s old, but look at what Misbah has been able to do with Pakistan at his age

Skipper Smith fails his first test in Sri Lanka

….I’m pretty sure you’re joking, but given some of your calls this series I’m not sure

Sri Lanka vs Australia: International Cricket third Test - Day 1 live scores, updates

To everyone concerned I am an Australia not a Pom like everyone is complaining about below. And this article is rubbish. “Australia will be buoyed by the grit they showed in this match”? for some reason if this had been New Zealand last year i doubt you would not have written that. In fact, any team other than Australia you tend look down upon rather negatively .the facts are we came to Sri Lanka big-headed and not giving them the respect they deserve (And i’m looking at you Ronan,http://www.theroar.com.au/2016/07/24/australia-will-thrash-sri-lanka-tests-wont-close/)
this was an embarrassing defeat, short and simple, how can you bowl a team out for 117 and the lose the match. the pitch wasn’t even a raging turner, we just played stupid shots, Smith and Warner in particular. Australia will not be buoyed by any ‘grit’ they showed, their confidence will be dented by their weakness against spin again being highlighted and exploited

Sterner spin Test awaits Australia in Galle

Not good enough Ronan, they had this match in their ballpark and they totally botched it. they’re confidence will be completely shot after another failure against spin on the subcontinent. For a team that was expected to win this series convincingly, this is a major step backwards. Their batsman were disappointing, the bowlers were disappointing in the second innings when it really counted, showing grit on the last day isn’t good enough, especially after they were talked up as being the best team in the world by some

Australia will thrash Sri Lanka in the Tests and it won’t be close

Forget England and South Africa, Australia have the best Test attack

A rather bad day for you Ronan, never mind old chap, there’s always the Eagles game against Collingw…ooh wait a minute, never mind, they choked again

Australia vs Sri Lanka first Test highlights: Day 5 cricket scores, blog

I wouldn’t bet on our batting to tackle anything over 150. We have a bad propensity to collapse, especially against spin. look what happened in adelaide against the Kiwis, we were only chasing 187 on our own turf and we almost botched it. i shudder to think what would happen if Herath got going in the second dig

Australia vs Sri Lanka first Test: Day 3 cricket live scores, blog

stats aren’t everything Ronan, much of those numbers are buoyed by their scores against the West Indies, which, in your own words, are a basketcase of a side. this is a side that is poor playing away from home and is unproven against spin and swing bowling. Look at Trent Bridge and at what is happening in sri Lanka now. we are still jittery against swing and completely inept at playing spin

Forget England and South Africa, Australia have the best Test attack

can’t bat, can’t bowl, can’t catch and he’s ugly
Drop him

Is it time to ditch James Faulkner?

Lewis over Wells? your kidding

North Melbourne Kangaroos vs Hawthorn Hawks highlights: AFL live scores, blog

Don’t you mean the Mayne gather?

West Coast Eagles vs Fremantle Dockers highlights: Eagles best in the west

I think NZ will go with Southee over Milne and McClenaghan, he’s got far more experience then either of them, considering his 2011 WC performance. Milne’s radar can be as bad as Johnson some times and McClenaghan always puts the effort in but doesn’t really match Southee’s accuracy and control. If New Zealand’s batting stands up in the spin-friendly conditions then i think they will win easily. Our batting against spin bowling is a lot weaker compared to theirs.
