Minus the blistering pace!

One player to watch from every team in the AAMI Community Series

Not obsessed at all. Just reminding Cats’ fans their side are our bunnies despite them continually advocating that they couldawouldashoulda beaten the Tiges in their past two or three finals match-ups. We were your bunnies for a couple of decades much to the enjoyment of Cats’ fans. They must be hurting now!

The order of merit: Geelong Cats 2021 season

Yes, you’re right. Perhaps they can’t handle the extra speed and heat of finals footy. And yes, right again. Lacking in young talent. Many of their younguns leave because of a lack of opportunity. Jordan Clark may be next considering they’ve picked up Smith and Higgins. Why would a young fella want to be drafted by Geelong?

Really? Please explain.

Shut up and play footy: Why do we take down players who stand against racism?

Baker and Pickett were awesome in the first half! Kept us in touch. Short? Magnificent game. Nank played a beauty, very underrated. The list goes on. Dusty was great but certainly didn’t do it on his own. That’s merely an opposition Get out of Jail card.

So, never plays on a wing?

The order of merit: Geelong Cats 2021 season

I don’t actually dislike Geelong at all. A huge critic of their coach though and Blicavs has suffered as a consequence and ultimately it has cost the team. It appears to me that Scott coaches one way against the lesser sides yet loses faith in that process against the top sides. Seeing Blicavs line up on the wing or in the ruck against Richmond suits us down to a tee.

Stop being so precious. Okay for you to participate in an embarrassing manner during live calls of Richmond games yet you have no resilience when it comes to criticism of anything Geelong. You may think the Cats are best served by playing Blicavs in the ruck, or on a wing ( I guess you missed that experiment) but I don’t. No ‘baiting’ whatsoever. Blicavs could be one of the best defenders in the game and should be played as a defender. One job. The fact he has been used as a Mr Fixit has left the team exposed down back against good sides and left Blicavs himself exposed in positions above his pay grade.

Blicavs a ‘utility’ player? Geelong wish. They’ve insisted on this being the case for way too long. When on the ball or on a wing he is all too often caught in two minds resulting in poor decision making and/or disposal or just. . . well, caught. An out and out defender if there ever was one. Let’s see if Scott stubbornly persists with this ‘utility’ mistake.

Playing in the back pocket for a poorly performing team certainly gives him plenty of opportunity to show a bit.

Not sure if Rohan is worth persevering with at all. Too disappointing all too often, particularly when the heat is really on. Looks good on the odd occasion against the lesser sides but even then is way too inconsistent. Hope for Geelong’s sake he’s not on a long term contract.

AFL stock market: Pre-season edition

The irony is that he thinks ‘Tootsie’ is an insult yet ‘Chimp’ is okay.

Shut up and play footy: Why do we take down players who stand against racism?

For we are in the presence of Dusty.

Shut up and play footy: Why do we take down players who stand against racism?

Tootsie during a Richmond game live Roar call. “Another throw from Martin, that makes three. When will the umpires wake up to him? Another clanger by Martin.” And it goes on. Geez that third GF B.O.G. to Dusty must irritate him!

Shut up and play footy: Why do we take down players who stand against racism?

Ahhhh, your old go to claim. Thom and Spruce are certainly not one and the same! You really don’t like being challenged with different opinions/theories, do you?

Shut up and play footy: Why do we take down players who stand against racism?

So an obviously ‘white honky’ thinks Lumumba is ‘greatly exaggerating claims’ and ‘arguably blatantly lying’. Wow! You have very little understanding of how people of colour cope with racial discrimination and you demonstrate an unashamed indifference to their plight. As I said previously . . . it is your choice to remain ignorant. Life is so much easier that way.

Shut up and play footy: Why do we take down players who stand against racism?

Exactly. I was called ‘coconut’ throughout my high school years at a predominantly white private school. To complain would have only made things worse. Certainly didn’t like it.

Shut up and play footy: Why do we take down players who stand against racism?

Yeah. Against Freo! Lol.

The premiership dark horse going under the radar

Laughing gas?

The premiership dark horse going under the radar

And you’d have to be openly ignorant, by choice, to disregard what he says.

Shut up and play footy: Why do we take down players who stand against racism?

Noooooo! Tell me it isn’t so. Really wanted Ed to stick around forever, or at least to leave the building with Bucks. No free ride for Nathan now.

Eddie McGuire quits as Collingwood president

Kevin Bartlett, too!

How do coaching trees work in the AFL?

Yeah, fair call. Mitch and Jake . . . equally talented and equally endowed with grey matter. Though I have to disagree with you regarding McStay. He’s certainly not a starting 18 player and you have numerous better defenders than him so he’s merely a squad member, just in case one or two go down. Should be delisted at the end of this season. Dan’s had more chances than his talent deserves i.m.o.

The order of merit: Brisbane Lions 2021 season

Mitch Robinson really has got the most out of himself at Brisbane. Every last little bit. However, if he is a regular in this Lions outfit I’d be somewhat surprised. It’s time to move past him if Brisbane are to have a serious shot at the flag. He, along with McStay, must become a depth player only.

The order of merit: Brisbane Lions 2021 season

Geez, wasn’t he good in the last quarter of the GF in 2020 though. Crucial cog in our victory. I think your judgement is affected by the disappointment of a GF loss and wishful thinking. Understandable.

Who will bounce back from poor 2020 campaigns?
