Hawthorn do, in fact, have decent membership numbers. To be fair.
Six Points: No.1 pick needs to cut the dirty play out now, and why the Bailey Smith scandal was handled perfectly
That’s a weak come back, Nick. Didn’t watch the game at all, do read the news though. And you? Shouldn’t be using fake news to make a point.
Six Points: No.1 pick needs to cut the dirty play out now, and why the Bailey Smith scandal was handled perfectly
No he didn’t! Kelly suffered no ill effects at all.

Is he really sincere? Apologetic? The caveat he uses, ‘however’ (read but . . . ), tells me he isn’t really so. Seems to play the mental health card as a matter of convenience rather than fess up to being a d### head.
'Deeply ashamed' Bailey Smith responds to photo with illicit substance as Bulldogs investigate
Cheers.
AFL Friday Footy Fix: 'Effort without system' sums up Dons, and what was up with those 150th anniversary celebrations?
I didn’t watch the game, had no interest. More interested to know why it was so low scoring. Thursday nights ‘crap’ game in really tough conditions saw more goals kicked. If Essendon were so rank what does it say about the Blues?

Liam Baker will finish in our top 5!
The top five players in the best and fairest for each team (Part 1)
Would you have gone?
AFL Thursday Thought Bubble: Concussion controversy, the next Ginnivan and a 'pretty crappy' match for even the players
No sympathy for the bloke who regularly ‘shaped up’ to opposition players when he played for Essendon. Fancies himself big time. What a legend!
AFL NEWS: Power's handling of concussion controversy ticked off as Hinkley hits back at critics
A cold Thursday night, a fresh layer of baby oil covering the surface of the ground and not really traditional rivals on show. Would/Did you go? Will be far more interesting to see how many turn up for Carlton v Richmond next Thursday. If it’s under 40k Thursday night footy should be canned once and for all. A Friday or Saturday night would attract c.70k you would think.

Have to agree with you there. Not too sure I’ll watch any footy this weekend, it’s just too frustrating. Between coaches’ game plans, the adjudication of old and new rules alike and players not knowing whether they’re coming or going it’s just a dog’s breakfast.

Squad depth, hey. Yet you bemoan the loss of 3 role players. Seems contradictory to me.
Jump back on the bandwagon, the Dockers are just getting started
That’s very true. Both the Tiges and Port performed more poorly than the umpires. The coaches’ tactics could/should come into question, too.

Exactly right. I’ve watched the Martin ‘push in the back’ over and over and over again. The Port dude literally did trip over his own feet. No free kick there. People see what they wanna see I guess.

Naaaah. Freo aren’t fake contenders. They’re not contenders at all. But thanks for your consideration and obsession with what we think, Li’l Donny. After the last 5 years we should know what real contenders look like . . . we’ve seen ’em come and seen ’em go. Experience does count.

Good for you, Chuck! The first non-Richmond Roarer to recognise that. Injuries were to best 22 players, too. Not like Geelong’s this year. We wore it, they sook it up. Carlton having a cry now as well. Injuries are, and always have been, a huge part of the game. The ‘what if Stewart didn’t get injured?’ type gripes are for bad losers.

You’re only a contender until ultimately you’re not. A lot of water to go under the bridge yet. Top 4 not as strong as previously thought.

It just means you were wr- wr-wr-wr-wrong. But Donny is never wrong. Just ask his students. And family. And . . .
The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 13
‘Dropping the soap’ isn’t necessarily a positive experience, Donny. Really glad your lot have come out to play, though. Cheers.

You really are a shameless troll, Li’l Donny.

I see Zorko as being the Lions’ barometer. He needs to pull his head in and lead by example. An angry Zorko becomes a liability.
Round 12 power rankings: A new leader emerges
Fantastic not to be burnt by some Robbie Gray heroics in the closing minutes for a change.
