Just about every commentator has stated that the Blues have a better balanced team. While I have followed league for decades and know a bit about the game I would not consider myself expert enough to judge one one or the other on the subject, I do however like the look of the team.
Regarding the mass change of personnel, I like that a lot. QLD are essentially playing a different team. From the Blues perspective they are taking the best of the team from game 1 and fortifying the fire power across the field. QLD as good as they were in game one could only manage a victory by 6 points. I’m tipping they will lose by more than that tonight.

Origin Tactical Preview: Where Game 2 will be won and lost

😂 whatever.

You just “don’t get State of Origin” 😂

It’s the Panthers connection. A combo that has proved to be successful.

It’s NSW vs QLD. No other states wanted or required.

“ Damien Cook’s demotion to the bench and Api Koroisau’s recall to the side, perhaps the most eye-catching move from NSW”.
Demotion? I get the sentiment but don’t necessarily agree that Cook has been “demoted” as such. He’s still in the side and could well come on and tear the game up. If I were writing the piece, I would be more inclined to say something like,
“In a tactical move, Cook is now slated to start from the bench later in the game in order to get the Blues rolling through a tiring QLD pack”
Edit: That quote BTW was not from the above article.

MICHAEL HAGAN: How Freddy's all-or-nothing selection gamble can have Api ending

Burton, Crichton, Jurbo… I like 👍 👍 👍

Fitler et.al are not idiots. Accomplished players at the highest levels and lifelong students of the game. As a long term Blues fan (from the beginning of Origin), I have every confidence in the Blues hierarchy to get the right team on the field.

And … still feeling the warm glow of 50-6 and 26-0 thrashings of QLD in 2021.

MICHAEL HAGAN: How Freddy's all-or-nothing selection gamble can have Api ending

Yea. Talk about a reversal. It’s early days of course, but you look at the Blues and it’s easy to make comparisons to when QLD had the up and coming superstars (as they turned out to be). The Blues could well be at the start of their own era of dominance. Dynasty? Well the way I see it, that term is owned by QLD. If… If NSW were to have a similar success, I would hope that a term unique to them is adopted.

History beckons: Just how close Blues are to record-breaking points campaign

How sweet it is 😛 Not to mention the possible 3 game loss on home soil,
if that were to happen, may well be a record never equaled.

Not me. I want to see the Blues smash the living crap out of the has been “Dynasty” 😂

'Bluecastle': NSW eye Origin sweep following Game 3 venue change

Moses looked pretty good in yesterday’s match. His kicking game was spot on throughout the entire 80 minutes. I wouldn’t be unhappy to see him get a crack at it.

Sterlo explains his pick for Nathan Cleary's Origin III replacement

102 – 0. Wow 😛

All Blacks blow Tonga off the park with a try inside 75 seconds

Incorrect. The “worst ever” Queensland side is the current squad 😛

The greatest ever Queensland pre-Origin side

I don’t think it’s harsh. It was a conscious decision. It was deception and he would have known it.

Mulitalo's Origin dream over as NRL makes final decision

“Furthermore, the reason for Mulitalo representing Queensland at junior level was based on incorrect declarations”. In other words… he lied. It’s been documented that he made declarations for 2 consecutive years and then changed his story in the years following. So the question to be asked is, what kid was denied a place in an origin team due to this liar. Harsh?… True.

Mulitalo's Origin dream over as NRL makes final decision

Yep. Your’e right. I stand corrected. Hopefully it will be 4-4 in a couple of weeks.

New South Wales has dominated Origin, but don't call it a dynasty

The result of game 3 has the potential to propel the Blues to 4-3 in clean sweeps. That would be significant given how hard that feat is to achieve.

New South Wales has dominated Origin, but don't call it a dynasty

haha… funny 😛 Except if you use results, which would seem the most logical measure to gauge the “worst team ever”… than the current QLD outfit surely fits the description. Scoring 1 try vs 12 across 2 games. Perhaps they will double the series tally to date in game 3?

New South Wales has dominated Origin, but don't call it a dynasty

From what I’ve seen, the narrative around a “dynasty” is something QLD’ers seem to be obsessed with. Personally, I could care less, I’m more interested in experiencing now over living on distant memories. I think there a plenty of Blues supporters who will be more than satisfied with the current state of affairs. 3 series wins from the last 4. Keeping QLD to 0 at Lang Park. 2-0 in QLD. 76-6 in 2 games. Must be a bitter pill to swallow coming after a “dynasty” 😛

New South Wales has dominated Origin, but don't call it a dynasty

Yea NSW were so fortuitous. The wins were clearly decided by luck and not at all attributable to the stratospheric level of talent currently circulating in the Blues outfit.

Welch: Dominant Blues are "redefining" rugby league

😊 😊

Welch: Dominant Blues are "redefining" rugby league

Following a 50-6 hammering in the previous game… 😛

Welch: Dominant Blues are "redefining" rugby league

“a NSW side “redefining” rugby league on their way to the most dominant State of Origin series win in history”.
That will do me just fine. After years of disappointment as a Blues supporter, seeing QLD getting absolutely hammered this series is a level of compensation which is more than adequate.
Obviously, the job is not finished. A clean sweep and another annihilation in game 3 will make for the sweetest victory of all. And while 3 series wins out of the last 4 is no “Dynasty”… it’s a pretty damn comprehensive result and clearly demonstrates that NSW have absolutely dominated QLD during this period.
“a NSW side “redefining” rugby league on their way to the most dominant State of Origin series win in history”… How sweet it is.

Welch: Dominant Blues are "redefining" rugby league

Yea it was. But.. it was still only a 62 point margin across 3 games. The Blues have already passed that in the first 2 games. Like I said. This is a level of dominance I haven’t seen in decades of watching Origin. When have we ever seen a massive margin in game 1 followed by a shut out in game 2? 26 isn’t 50 but it’s still a big number for an Origin game. And a 0 score line in response amplifies the magnitude of the win. Add the fact that it all took place in the heartland of the enemy.

Following years of misery at the hands of QLD it’s a relief to see a shift. It will be seriously interesting to see what transpires in game 3. Though I think the big test comes in 2022. If the Blues win it next year… QLD are potentially looking at a bleak period moving forward.

Six talking points from State of Origin Game 2

2.5 seems reasonable for a team which has been obliterated 76-6 across 2 games.
