This side looks ALOT less threatening without Stokes.
England's most likely XI for the Gabba
Great list, it’s Lillee and Thompson for me.
Golden Ashes: Australia's greatest bowling partnerships
Sorry mate. Shaun and Mitch don’t have naked photos of me snorting white Christmas off a Jamaican whores ass.
The greatest Ashes XI of all time
It was a toss up between Lillee and McGrath and Lillee just won out for me.
The greatest Ashes XI of all time
I agree, Trumper was very hard to leave off. But that’s the nature of these lists, there will also be greats that have to be left off.

You’re joking right? That would be incredibly ignorant…. I never saw Don Bradman play but that doesn’t mean he’s not the best ever….
The greatest Ashes XI of all time
I did think about Johnson and you’re right, he was excellent in 2013-14. But the 2009 and 2010-11 series, he was pretty ordinary. This list is the best of the best and he just misses out.

What’s a guy to do when someone takes a swing at him. From all I’ve seen, Stokes is defending himself and his mates…
Video emerges of Stokes in alleged brawl
I tend to agree Scott, looking at the rosters across the board, NZ have one of the weaker sides.
NBL 2017-18 season preview: New Zealand Breakers
Well I was hesitant about keeping Lyon in this side and he bounced back in the best possible way, good for him. Now 7th best bowler in AUS history, statistically speaking. Still rather annoyed they flew SOK in for Swepson however.
Australia are bunnies in Asia no more
“This was presumably an attempt to prove once and for all to other states that the New South Wales and Australia team are, in fact, different entities”
OMG this is brilliant haha. I assume your baggy green comes nicely tucked away inside your baggy blue when it’s presented to you. Poor Mitch Swepson, the guys needs a chance.
The Liebke Ratings: Bangladesh vs Australia second Test
I mean AFL is played and it’s there but people certainly don’t plan their life around the Lions / Suns and the AFL grand final. State of Origin on the other hand is the religion of choice.
The Socceroos need to start attracting Australia's best athletes
But undoubtedly WAZ, the cream of young athletes are attracted to AFL .
In Melbourne maybe but come a few states north and that statements is just utter garbage. The best athletes play whatever sport they’re brought up with, whether that be cricket, NRL, Rugby, Football or AFL. You cannot just say that anyone who’s anyone goes into AFL.

Can confirm he’s back in Brisbane working as a strength and conditioning coach. Quite unfortunate tbh, he just couldn’t catch a break.
First down under: Aussies who made the cut in the NFL
Mate dont get me wrong, i’ll be cheering as hard as anyone against Syria and ?? Honduras??
But you can;t honestly say you’re happy with where we’re at atm
Australia's World Cup hopes hang by a thread after Saudi Arabia win
This is what happens when we apply ourselves at the crease. Admittedly, that pitch looks flat AF, but we batted with grit and determination and as a result, have our noses in front. Keen for Handscomb to get a ton today and solidify his Ashes spot along with it.
David Warner and Peter Handscomb shine in Bangladesh
We honestly don’t deserve to make Russia. Had the lead in several matches and blew them with sloppy play. Bozza summed it up well, you can’t just go experimenting half way through qualification and as a result, we’ve paid the price.
If (yes if) we win against Syria, an interesting match up would be USA! Can’t remember the last time we played them in an international.

No, I just genuinely believe what I wrote and I’m standing by it. You disagree with what I’ve written and that’s fair. I didn’t need the English lesson however….
The Cavs future is a lot brighter now
Well we didn’t do any of this and we lost. Well done Ange.
A Socceroos starting XI to beat Japan
Do you think Lebron cares about picks? No, he’s out of there July 1 next year unless Cleveland can convince him otherwise. IT gives the Cavs options, if he can replicate his form from this season and the Cavs can win a title, Lebron might stay long term. If IT can’t and Lebron leaves, he’s an expiring contract and they can start the rebuild. Yes the nets pick is important, but it doesn’t give Cleveland the allround options that IT does. IT is literally make or break for the Cavs next season and if he can save Lebron from leaving, than he’s undoubtedly the most important piece Cleveland could have received for Irving.
The Cavs future is a lot brighter now
Well I’m sold. I loved Nevill but if we can find a guy who’s a better keeper and is 6 years younger, than sign me up.
Wade's Ashes spot almost gone
I just want to touch on your AUS middle order quickly. If you look at the records, Chappell and Ponting averaged 43 and 44 respectively in Ashes Cricket. Those are very mediocre numbers when compared to the other greats we have produced over the years. Also as far as openers go, I’d have Langer before Ponsford. Langer averaged over 50 in Ashes Cricket including his highest test score of 250.
