Many tanks. Glad you enjoyed the wide read. The readership in London was very positive.
I wanted to make it an educational piece as well as generating some appeal to females.
Now we just need to roll the sleeves up and win the series!

Yep, Tempo, Fermanagh. I’m glad you enjoyed the read and got to know a little of my great great great Irish g’father – Terence B McManus. A real legend….now buried in Glasnevin Cemetery in Dublin a few metres from Oscar Wilde. I’ve written up his life story if you are interested. He’s just the sort of bloke we need in our scrum!

Hi English Bob
Thanks for your gracious words. Apparently they are enjoying it in London….
I really enjoyed writing the article. Wanted to expand it to appeal female readership, as well as ‘pat Australia on the back’ for the cultural ways in which we have matched the UK in last 250 yrs
It follows my Letter to France in 2021.
Enjoy the match tonight!
Cheers

Agreed!
And glad to learn that you now have an authentic place in Rugby history ( Blackheath legend!).
I really enjoyed writing it on the back of my Letter to France in 2021.
Apparently they are loving it in London.

Tony, really enjoyed this capture of the ELLA – MOBBS trophy to be contested this weekend in the first test. Appreciated your interview and reverence for past legends.
I’ve just sent you a compelling article in time for this weekend…A cultural story for all your Australian readers and UK – centred on our two great nations – Australia and England. It’s an inviting ‘cultural romp’ – entering and closing through the doors of Rugby, highlighting the best of both, however always respectful. Written to appeal to your female readership, youth, inclusion, the arts (music, literature, & classical artwork), food, history and of course sports lovers – in this case Rugby Union fans, here and in the UK. It is perfectly timed to coincide with the England XV’s forthcoming tour of Australia. It’s also a promotion of Rugby and its great spirit. Cheers “Irish”.

Its turned out to be the next choice for some Bookclubs!
Glad you enjoyed it.
