Egg Zachary Geoff. Hope the Tahs don’t underestimate them.

JC so much the better if the squads are enlarged out to 60, and yes it would include the academy players. Also a good opportunity for injured players to make a return. Many upsides.
Here’s a shopping list for Rugby Australia, and there’s not a single NRL player on it
The domestic super rugby section of the comp should be running a parallel competition consisting of 3 teams for each franchise. The main team, the reserves team, and the women’s team. The two mens teams are going to need a pool of at least 50 players (two squads of 23 plus injuries) and the reserves would no doubt need to be bolstered by club players opening up opportunities for fringe players to show their wares. The championship is an aggregate of points from all 3 teams. Everyone has a stake.

Nic I think it will work like this. There will be a high game rotation between Gamble, Swinton, Hanigan, Sinclair, Harris, Vosayaco, and Gleeson in the 6/8 positions. They’ll get half a game each on a high rotation. They don’t lose much at all when any of them come off the bench so its not like keeping someone on until they’re flogged out because your bench player is not very good. That should hopefully keep everyone fresh and happy. Not sure of Cridge’s contract, but Williams and Hanigan can share lock with Holloway if needs be. Excited already for next year. Holtz at tight head has in my view been one of the discoveries of the season. He’ll go far. I predicted early in the season, more as a poke at out northern cousins than anything, that Thorn would lose the dressing room (its a body language thing). I suspect he’s very rigid and young men don’t like to be THAT disciplined. They don’t seem to be having a lot of fun up there. The Tahs are having fun and going about their business. The Brumbies strike me as all business.

'Very appealing': Why Mick O'Connor thinks fresh rugby raid makes sense, and the NRL players union should target
Call me Angus Gardner. Slouch hat has a huge place in Australia military history, like saying “Eddie Jones was wearing a shako”.
😂 😂 😂 😛
ANALYSIS: Why Lord Laurie is still king of the contact zone
He’s a very impressive young player Tom Hooper. Brumbies are very aggressive in their tackling and really seek to go much further than just stop the player. They really have some venom about their defense. Bucket hat Nic, not a slouch hat. Big difference, but it is quite a trademark for the Lord. Sorry to be a pedant.

Didn’t Douglas have a season ending injury?

Lets hope that Coleman and the Tahs have enough carrots to offer these guys.

Or they’ll set up a rotation between those 3 for those 2 spots, but I would suspect he’ll go straight into lock for Cridge. Vosayaco has much better hands at the back of the scrum than Harris – he’s playing bloody well. Someone said Harris will “eventually grow into his skin”, he’s a huge lump of a man but seems to have little venom about him. Maybe he needs to go into a lock position, maybe that’s where he’ll end up – he just keeps growing.

Top level sarcasm there Paul D 👍 👍 👍
The Wrap: Focus on physicality pays dividends as Brumbies secure third NZ scalp
Mind you its quite nice to not have the endless queue of Reds trolls here for a change.
The Wrap: Focus on physicality pays dividends as Brumbies secure third NZ scalp
In a team that has come so far with their defense and overall tackling technique this year, Perese for me stands out as one who hasn’t. Even Marky Mark, who stood out for his “near misses” in the past, this year is nailing them with good technique. Perese seems to have not received that same memo though, and him, one on one defending out on the wing is going to be a problem ………….. His attack is outstanding though.

Nasser out for the season apparently, Wilson looked in a pretty bad way last night. Brown has been impressive.
'Benchmarks': Why the Brumbies are the real deal in 2022
As I predicted at the beginning of the season the Reds are disintegrating, they’re imploding under Thorn’s tyranny.
'Benchmarks': Why the Brumbies are the real deal in 2022
One thing is for certain, if the Tahs do stumble in closing out the season they’ve certainly finished a long way ahead of where everyone thought they’d be at the start of the season, and if they do stumble, even now, they can hold their heads high because they’ve come so bloody far and the players have grown so much in so many ways.

'Eddie is a head coach until he drops dead': The wildcard in RA's Dave Rennie succession plan
Yeah real pity that. One of my absolute favourite players, so hard in the tackle. I remember the tackle he did it in, on a Fijian player, hell of a collision.

I thought the player dropped a long way into that tackle.

Rubbish. Rennie’s already said McReight will get game time this year. There are only 3 spots in the run one team and one of them is the current captain. It’s those who stand up against the Kiwi super teams that will get the nod. Hanigan isn’t even in the country ffs…………

That’s why I sort of wish Coleman was playing Vosayaco at 12…………

On the LHP side Sio has a had a couple of excellent weeks, maybe he’s been carrying an injury?
