Ain’t that the truth. Our teams seem to be an endless procession of new players, or veteran players.

Wallabies in danger of losing Hanigan to ambitious French club just as forward enters his prime

How about his value to the Waratahs ffs……..

And being young or female carries no special knowledge either.

'Definition of madness': Rugby reform must start with total cleanout of RA board - and this should happen next

He just spent a couple of years in France. MAYBE HE’s LEARNED ffs………..

Aussie-born England capped rake Nic Dolly signs with Force ... and he'll soon be eligible for the Wallabies

Can’t really see any of the current crop of SA top level rugby players being poached by soccer, but almost ALL of them would be targets for AFL and NRL. THAT’s the big difference.

Scrap the Giteau Law: Rugby Australia should look to Rassie's 'Boks RWC recipe if it wants to re-join the big boys' table

One thing about 7’s players is that they HAVE to tackle, and often one on one against other very fast players. There are no places to hide out there.

Enough of realistic expectations, let's get excited about future Wallabies

My 10, 12, 13 would be Gordon, Foketi, and Ikitau. I reckon the wings will be Daugunu and Toole with Wright at FB and Lolesio and Kellaway on the bench. That would be a pretty lethal back line, experience, size, smarts, strength. Just get Gordon a kicking coach ffs.

The Wrap: Crusaders' shot clock fiasco and shhh, don’t put the moz on Darby

Can you specify where and when Swinton did that?

The Wrap: Crusaders' shot clock fiasco and shhh, don’t put the moz on Darby

You have a bunch of players in the backline all playing out of their usual positions. Haven’t we been down that path before?

He was claiming he was held back, which he was, but not enough to allow him to prevent the try. Yeah, no other player ever pleaded with an AR to have something reviewed..ffs. He’s been playing good solid rugby. If he’d done the hits Finau has done people would be calling for a life sentence.

Stick Wright at 7 and Uru at 6.

Depth on the bench helps and that’s all Harrison is at this stage. Let’s not forget that Edmed slotted 9/9. Was impressed with the bench front row too, that was a mightily experienced pair of All Black props they were up against in a couple of very important scrums.

'Last few years have been hell': Iceman 2.0 Harrison gets 'dream come true' in Tahs' stunning golden point win

OK, now we’re on the right foot. Great news.

Exclusive: Schmidt set to bring 'Lord' back to the Wallabies as first key appointment

Walton
Canham (outstanding prospect).

Jed, Ned and Tane Edmed: The direction Joe Schmidt should head to put Eddie era to bed

The completely bombed one out wide when Wilson straightened into the defense with a 2 man overlap, and if the cross kick had been 2 meters shorter. At least they are creating opportunities, something it took them about 6 rounds to do last year.

Five things we learned: The general who caught Schmidt's eye, why next week is vital for Coleman's Tahs

So good to see Hugh Sinclair get a mention from Schmidt. Such a tireless, skillful team man. Also really enjoying FLW’s work in tight, but they certainly gained when Hannigan came on. Gleason is a little off the pace, maybe Hannigan at 8, I think he’d make a good 8. Gleason should be training up as the modern 7 type. Very glad for Coleman too.

I’m working on the belief that it was deliberate smart play. 😁 😂

Five things we learned: Aussies given early Super Rugby warning, Lolesio's timely reminder

How much does this huge focus on women’s rugby cost and how much does it bring in?

Exclusive: Rugby Australia makes sweeping redundancies as governing body braces for 'economic headwinds'

It is a bloody mystery Jez. I had hoped they would start the year like they finished last year but they have started worse than they started last year. So many fast, tough attacking options that just don’t get put into any sort of space. Maybe Edmed is the issue. Swinton strangely passive, Gleeson the same. I thought in that first half they looked like they had concrete boots on. I really feel for some of the talent in that team, especially Bell. WTF happened to Gambles over the ball presence, its like they’ve been instructed to not attack any rucks, and when the do its rubbish. On the verge of cancelling my Stan subscription.

'A bit deflating': Headaches for Waratahs after Reds trial thrashing, Brumbies win after Force miss post-siren kick

Yep, Coleman did his job in his first year. But he’s still in that year and has no more bullets in his gun. Many talented players but as a team they are clueless, they look like they’ve been coached by Eddie Jones.

How dare you make so much sense here!!! 😱

Aussie rugby is shooting itself in the foot over its recruitment strategy. It must change to give Wallabies a RWC hope

Last Australian rugby coach to win any sort of a title.

'Why would I want to?': Cheika's take on Schmidt, his plans for 2027 World Cup, and the job he has no interest in

I really hate to say it but Pope really does look like a bloody good unit.

Bazball 1-0 in India! Hartley takes seven on debut as England produce 'greatest triumph' under Stokes in epic comeback

So most importantly who won morally?

Jeez imagine if the Irish had thought the same way about Schmidt….. They’d also be nowhere on the world rugby stage. The worst white anting comes from the press, pick, pick, pick at where there is no story, until the picking starts to bleed, and “hey presto, it bleeds, told you all along, now we really have a story”.
