I was talking about the A-League clubs
Western United FC is the right name for the A-League's newest club
There’s already two united’s (Adelaide and Newcastle). You are comparing a traditional moniker (United) which is used all over the world, by multiple clubs in the same leagues, to oddly specific names such as Roar and Jets. It’s not a fair comparison in my opinion.

My football app doesn’t show Socceroos games for Asian cup
2019 is a big year for Australian football
I wish it was the latter, but it’s the former.

Ok fair enough, the game needs to be on a main channel though. Maybe back to SBS, A-League into EPL on Saturday nights?
Canberra minus cable television equals an invisible A-League
Try something different next year with the FTA deal. Saturday night’s on a FTA second channel isn’t working. Make FTA game an afternoon game, to get it on a main channel.

Most aussie football pundits had predicted to beat Thailand comfortably (e.g. by at least 3 goals.
Socceroos' failure is a blessing in disguise
Fair point. The longer Brazil stay in the tournament the better they will become.
Brazil v Chile: The World Cup match you can't miss
Perfect game to start the round of 16. Lots of goals in this one.
Brazil v Chile: The World Cup match you can't miss
I also think that they will win, but it won’t be easy.
Brazil v Chile: The World Cup match you can't miss
I agree will take time to be a great team, but believe we are a big chance to win based on our positive performances against the Dutch and Chile.
Socceroos must capitalise on valiant World Cup showing
Victory’s membership numbers will now definitely decrease.
A-League's 'Active Areas' are another PR disaster
They deserve the attention because of the lack of attention they have gotten in their 4 seasons. They have always been second fiddle to Victory and the attention shift in my opinion is finally what they deserve to build a new identity. It was difficult for them to gain immediate exposure in the Melbourne market due to Victory’s large supporter base, but City’s notable changes should gather the attention and support from a new bunch of non affiliated Melbournian football fans.
Of course it won’t mean success is guaranteed, however the club’s reborn identity and exciting players should lift crowds at the start of the season. I agree with you that a strong season is needed to build momentum for fans to keep coming back through the gates. However City’s new management have impressed me already (by signing David Villa) and I think will continue to impress (with big signings and academy system) which will continue to grow City’s fanbase in the upcoming seasons.
The Heart of Melbourne City are getting the respect they deserve
In my opinion, Heart were never given any recognition/respect in their opening years. Always labelled as that other team in Melbourne. There supporters deserve respect for sticking with them but it took City’s money for them to gather that attention. By the way my title was altered with i believe it was “The Heart of Melbourne City are getting the attention they deserve” nothing to do with respect.

I was unaware it started so soon. Will definitely be watching
Plenty of football to watch despite A-League's conclusion
Totally forgot about the Juve game. I’ll make sure to put it on my football calendar!

Would love to see him stick around. Would be brilliant viewing if he potentially becomes Sydney’s player-coach, coming off the bench when they need a spark!
Alessandro: we thank you
Awesome! Really shows how much he has done for the competition.
Alessandro: we thank you
Is that a current figure? I thought when he signed in September 2012 his contract was worth 4 million over 2 seasons.

This is the exact way I look at it as well, however a large majority of people seem to not care about the competition.
Football fans must support the Asian Champions League
Very true, other codes would love that opportunity.

Range of factors why A-league ratings are dropping. Kayo, My Football App, Netflix, loss of EPL rights for fox, competition has stagnated, have all had an impact.
Have the A-League's ratings tanked because people no longer watch TV?
