“b) I suspect you’re a Queenslander.” Wrong Matt is born and bred Ken Behren, played for Royals in his day.
What’s with the tone, Waxhead?

Is winning boring? Is the rolling maul dead? Tate McDermott? Plaintive pleas from a green-gold couch

Beefa or Reefa?

Where would the Wallabies be without Michael Hooper?

I would argue the kick Vunivalu launched from his 22 on Friday night was better than Folau did his whole career

Suliasi Vunivalu ruled out of France series with hamstring injury

” Frankly I haven’t watched a game since they broke up with Foxtel (not that I think Foxtel is great), but I’m not going to the trouble of taking out yet another pay TV subscription to watch a substandard product. No wonder crowd and viewer numbers have dropped off.”

Thankfully you still find time to come on to the Roar and state your opinion.
Viewing numbers are up by a reported 140% ( not including Stan) compared to last year and at least 30,000 tickets have been purchased for next weeks final.

Rugby AU post big financial loss, eye off private equity investment

Problem is both Marika and Filipo play left wing. Can either play on the other side?

Injury carnage as Reds into Super Rugby final

In international rugby you need a 10 who can guide you around the field with a strong kicking game.
To’omua shades JOC in that respect.

Club or country: Balancing each side's needs at the selection table

Myself and my two brothers have all subscribed to Foxtel since 1996.
The motivator for all three of us was the rugby.
We all still subscribe purely for the rugby.
No rugby – no subscription

Why isn’t Super Rugby on free-to-air TV?

We watched a couple of midweek World Cup matches at The Scrooge Pub in Itaewon.
Upstairs on the Main Street and very close to the Subway.
It’s a sports bar with a rugby vibe.
Good Luck!

What do we know about the Australian conference ahead of Round 1?

Eddie’s use by date is usually two years, it seems like he is reinventing himself.

Whiteout! How selection confidence helped England beat the All Blacks

Perfect analogy.

Eddie Jones has performed a coaching master class for the ages

Brumbies won the title under Eddie Jones not Rod McQueen.

Thank you for your empathy.
Ten minutes in I felt a hopelessness in that I spent three weeks in Japan and I couldn’t explain to myself what I was watching.
Surely we had more of a game plan than just run it at all costs.
As a fellow Gold Coast resident you are a rare kiwi gem amongst the rocks.

My 80 minutes as a Wallaby fan

Not waving but drowning: The Michael Cheika era comes to an end

Hey Fionn
Good news Marika signed for another two years!

Not waving but drowning: The Michael Cheika era comes to an end

Cheika won’t drag him before halftime regardless of the way he plays.
Foley v Wales played 44 minutes.
You can accuse Cheika of a lot of things but you’re wrong on this point.

With a massive selection gamble, Michael Cheika rearranges the deck chairs once again

One Zimbawean and one South African.
What’s your point?

With a massive selection gamble, Michael Cheika rearranges the deck chairs once again

You lost me at fair dinkum.

What the Wallabies must get out of the Georgia game

Here in Japan with 40000 other Australian fans having the time of our lives.
All those turning their backs enjoy the NRL, I’m staying with the rugby thanks.

The Wrap: World Cup thrown into beautiful, glorious confusion

Yet we lost by four.
The Welsh replacement winger pulls off an extraordinary feat and momentum swings.
The Welsh deserved to win but it was close.

Where it went wrong for the Wallabies against Wales - and no, it wasn't the refs

Neither play 6.

Return of the Pooper: David Pocock and Michael Hooper set to start in World Cup opener

Old man raises his arm and yells at clouds.

Can’t see the Fijians putting up too many high balls.
Loved to have seen TK in the starting 15.

Wallabies confirm team for first Rugby World Cup pool game vs Fiji

As a Brumbies fan I loved Fardy.
Got photos with his Mum and Dad after the 2015 England match at Twickenham.
Don’t quite know what happened in 2016.
Larkham dropped him suggesting rotation, which clearly was nonsense.
Loved to have seen him stay longer, great leader and brilliant communicator.

Return of the Pooper: David Pocock and Michael Hooper set to start in World Cup opener

Sorry Fionn
Self correct

Return of the Pooper: David Pocock and Michael Hooper set to start in World Cup opener

Fiona,
If Nic Bishop says that’s the reason Fardy isn’t playing more often at 6 then fair enough.
Unfortunately Fardy chose to go overseas after 37 tests and is not eligible.
