First 4 games for the Hawks could see them of to a great start if all goes well :}
in my mind
R1- Crows 50/50
R2- Dogs Win
R3- North 50/50
R4 -Saints Win
If they can go in to R5 with 3-1 or 4-0 that would be a great start. Then the real test will be the game against the Cats

Freo look to be heading in the right direction and will be intesting to see how they go with Hogan up forward. I just hope they don’t do what other clubs have done and away go for Hogan when going forward. It hurt Hawthorn when they did with Buddy and Tigers when they aways aimed at Jack as well.
Freo: Moving forward, or staying docked?
I don’t think most would say ess midfield is sub par more not as developed as others. But stating to get there I think
Round 1 in the AFL: A gratifying start, and a high hurdle to clear
Angry man we have two now in Clarko and Kennett
Still hoping for some surprise and I could see the hawks giving jack Trengove a life line
The Roar's 2017 AFL trade period report card - every club graded, as voted by you
Agree with the crowd on hawks being a C
Will be interesting to see who out of the 4 that are out of contract at hawks are kept O’Rourke being the biggest one at risk of being delisted out of them.
Other think will be who the hawks go after during the delisted FA period

I think Freo has to be happy with what the got over the trade period. Weller I think could be costly later on for them. As I see him as a star of the future
AFL trade news Deadline Day wrap: Gary Ablett, Jake Stringer, Bryce Gibbs, Josh Schache, Charlie Cameron, Lachie Weller and more
So with that why go after Lobbe other then if you are letting Martin go
AFL trade news and rumours Day 8 live blog
Can Martin or lobbe play as a resting forward?
That to me would be the only way them two could play in the same team
AFL trade news and rumours Day 8 live blog
Bird or josh Opp just remember he just resigned
So nevermine that one
But is there any other that you can see being moved on
AFL trade news and rumours Day 2 live blog
Agree bird that he did not take the chance he was given.
Mattician6x6 I think around a late 2nd round pick is what the hawks would be looking at.
AFL trade news and rumours Day 2 live blog
I have heard the eagles as one
I could see also see him part of a deal for Impey
AFL trade news and rumours Day 2 live blog
Any rumours about Hartung at all?
I have heard he is trade bait at the moment
AFL trade news and rumours Day 2 live blog
I wonder if Ablett wishes he went with the 2 year that was offered? I would have made all of this a little easier
Gold Coast needs to hold its ground on Ablett trade
I think you maybe over estimated what Essendon will be willing to give for stringer. I will say he would be worth it but with what has come out about him this week I think ess will only offer 28 not 11
Why the West Coast Eagles should trade Andrew Gaff
I had heard about a month ago that hawks were looking at him.
For the hawks we don’t have the picks for him so would have to be a player and I could see Hartung and or maybe white cross be put forward
Why the West Coast Eagles should trade Andrew Gaff
Macca I think you are right but I don’t think he will be able to turn around like Jones
Jones is a lot more mobile then Vickery.
Round 22 AFL Teams: All the ins and outs for every club
sadly I think you maybe right Macca
unless a club has the situation like eagle did when they took Giles from Ess then the chance are slim.
and he could well play only a few games next year if he stays at the Hawks.
North are the only other I could see that may need a 3/4 Ruck forward but again slim.
Round 22 AFL Teams: All the ins and outs for every club
But with maci retirement you need that extra backup ruckman ?
I think the idea of him was right at the time but as the years gone in for the hawks he has become lest relevant to them I wonder who may want him is the big problem
Round 22 AFL Teams: All the ins and outs for every club
Glass will be on the senior list next year for sure and I would say goes straight in to our best 22.
JOM I wish him well and hope he gets through with no problems
Also what is your opinion of Vickery? Keep or trade at years end?
Round 22 AFL Teams: All the ins and outs for every club
Injuries can be blamed for a season or 2 but 6 years is to long.
Injuries or top players missing means other below get there chance to get experience and skill that help them later.
Look at ESS. If player had not been on holiday then those below would hot have got the game time they needed to make ESS be in the position they are now
Round 22 AFL Teams: All the ins and outs for every club
That great news for all other clubs if Buck does get a extra 2 years as coach.
It means one less team fighting for the top 8 for a few more years ?
Round 22 AFL Teams: All the ins and outs for every club
Agree has been playing well the only thing I can see why he was dropped was as a rookie listed player he was elevated as a replacement to injured player
Also I would have left JOM in the VFL for at least another week before bringing him back in
Round 22 AFL Teams: All the ins and outs for every club
Cousins is great and show potential
O’Rourke has shown nothing in his time and I see him maybe traded at some point
Lovell I hope is like Brand in that after his last major injury he has become a fantastic defender for us and still has room to improve
Tom Mitchell has thrived at Hawthorn but needs help
Scary bit we play the Lions twice and Hope to god no repeat of this year
