More A-League teams for Sydney and Melbourne: Did the FFA get their A-League expansion decision right?
Hey alex, dont think the fullbacks of the league are that bad though. Zullo is a brilliant crosser of the ball for example. Davidskn is good as well. Its just that there is a tendency for coaches to play centre backs in fullback positions, dont understand it. E.g. elrich in yesterdays match
Tactics, vol.1 : New-castle, old failings
Another thing is the loss of patty rodriguez, brilliant technical player that the jets should have kept. While there are rumours that he was too casual in training, i think the pros outweigh the cons overall. A la melb city with their joyce/fornaroli battle rn
Tactics, vol.1 : New-castle, old failings
Yeah but balance must be struck mate, its not a 1 way street. Whats that old saying again, do unto other what you would others do unto you? 🙂

VAR: Very appalling results
Always felt that its not the system itself but the poor inplementation by the officials thats the problem:(
VAR: Very appalling results
Apparently the nfl style bunker VAR was supposed to improve things. On this evidence they could setup the VAR on the moon and it still wouldnt work.
Also great title haha
VAR: Very appalling results
2 wrongs dont make a right mate. Just because a VAR error benefited Victory last season doesnt mean they should be punished for it now. Also you do realise that football is a contact sport, right? The foul is given only in situations where excessive force is used to gain an unfair advantage. Contact doesnt equate to a foul…it depends on the nature of the contact.
Melbourne, city of shame
Dunno what sport youre watching, but VAR was introduced precisely to eliminate the errors ‘in real time’
Melbourne, city of shame
The whole point of var is to look at these game changing situations
Melbourne, city of shame
Not true. Coty of last season struggled to penetrate massed opposition defences
Most goals resulted from transition / individual dribbling and skill (mainly from arzani and kamau before him.) Now coty have no such flair player and will struggle against the Victory defence. O Halloran was citys replacement for arzani but hes crocked, and his replacement baccus just isnt good enough. 2-0 to victory
Three things that will decide the Melbourne Derby
