Whats wrong with recycling players. They know the club and culture. Its actually a good thing
Robbie's redemption tour another compelling A-League story
Now Victory just need to sign Chris Herd and theyd have a really strong spine
Robbie's redemption tour another compelling A-League story
on a separate note, what do yall think of ramy najjarine replaceing goodwin at adelaide?
Why do fans compare the A-League to England's lower leagues?
Haha perhaps so i just think he has a great future. Theres a rumour that Victory are in for Brattan, thatvwould be a really fantastic signing ,
Antonis' Suwon sale gives new recruit a chance
But anyway i think Victory are trying to sign Luke brattan, whose a fantastic player too:)
Antonis' Suwon sale gives new recruit a chance
@waz if Victory want to sign a like for like replacement however i think Chris Herd would fit the bill. Was excellent at anchoring the midfield for WSW when he was there, stint got cut short by injury dou unfortunately. Could have been integral for them:)
Antonis' Suwon sale gives new recruit a chance
I watch Roar and Sydney NPL NYL games on a regular basis via youtube streams waz:) and i think hes good enough to step up

Arnie has a tracke record of arrogance against asian opponents. In 17/18 he proudly proclaimed that he was gonna win the damn champions league…before crashing out at the group stage 😛
Arrogant Arnold needs wins under belts before demanding ruthlessness
also id argue that it was not so much the cross itself…any half decent winger can do in training. but armiento was being pressed bu the roar defence but yet had the vision to try it and the skill to pull it off, on his debut too
Why Goodwin’s exit actually suits Adelaide
arzani did little else in the first half of 17/18 as well…looked how that turned out:)
Why Goodwin’s exit actually suits Adelaide
Disagree. Stats dont show the full picture, and his was boosted by his taking of dead balls like free kicks. Armiento, for example is a better option. Not in a head to head, obviously, but in terms of potential for growth as well as resale value
Why Goodwin’s exit actually suits Adelaide
He is held to a higher standard because of his pedigree and higher wages.

sold nabbout due to being cheap? you do know that they had no choice right? his release clause was met bu urawa, dont spout opinions as facts please
Will Melbourne Victory suffer from a 6-1 finals hangover this season?
What victory need right now are new signings. Theyve lost quite a few players, what with Honda, Barbarouses leaving and Valeri retiring. Yet theyve been quiet in the transfermarkt. They need some exciting fresh blood, such as the likes of Brattan and Najjarine to reinforce their squad

Good article jack, you made it seem like a story, very enjoyable read. I see your point that the psyche of the players can be affected. Psychology is a big part of football. However, as others have said, the impact would probably be mitigated by a new coach

Djulbic isnt quality anymore, esp with tratt coming in
Can Poppa lead Perth to Asian success?
Nah, Djulbic for an npl team. Keogh and chianese for a lower ranked a league side, i just dont think theyre that good. Esp keogh, he seems to have regressed a lot since his first few seasons. Of course, age is a factor, but hes lost more than the usual half a step

soften or raise the salary cap, dont abolish it
What are your hopes for the A-League next season?
Hope that clubs look in house for replacements rather than bringing in foregners with no pre. a league experience. Alex Grant to replace Davidson, A.Rufer to replace sarpreet singh etc. (Also why does transfermarkt list rufer as an attacking mid? Isnt he more of a def mid?)
Fulham 2019 is a gd example of how signing a bunch of flashy stars can backfire spectacularly
What are your hopes for the A-League next season?
haha glad hes achieving results! seems like hes able to go toe to toe with the big boys in asia too, which is always a plus 😀
