Yes, tell it to them TB. I have to say qld are terrible losers. So they are poised to take out the series, get outplayed emphatically and all of a sudden – it’s pearl harbor again! 3ff bombs are dropped all over national tv. Just goes to show playing good rugby league against them will bring the worst out of them

NSW Blues dominate Queensland in Game 2 to force State of Origin decider

The refs were not so terrible as you’d love to proclaim, they were OK. qld on the other hand wasn’t – that’s the meat and potatoes of it. They were bashed; outplayed and outwitted. They were only allowed to play as well as NSW let them, they tried to play well but they were just beaten cold turkey in all aspects. They’ll need to accept this and move forward in order to give themselves a sniff in Sydney. And get that coach whisperer back in there to replace the memories of the horrors of last night with positive ones

NSW Blues dominate Queensland in Game 2 to force State of Origin decider

Naah, Smith wouldn’t dare come back in this circumstances. If Fittler went with Maloney in game 1, the series is over! The writing was already on the wall and he saw it, now after this? No way in this and ten other universes he’s coming back to get terribly humiliated

Five talking points from State of Origin Game 2

Wallace was the only one having a go, the rest of the frog fraternity sat back on their haunches so he deserves praise but yes that was a silly costly error, I think he got there in time, just got the technique wrong ended up going too low putting Maloney in a dangerous position. No leave the rules as they are, you’re going to remove the charge down with that sort of rule and remove an aspect of the game we so love to see – charge downs that lead to tries against the grain style, turning a game on its head

Five talking points from State of Origin Game 2

Yeah Jarrod Wallace’s tackle on Maloney was cowardly but even he was just trying to put pressure on Maloney, it was dangerous but in don’t think he meant to do it. Unlike the all time modern day grub McGuire with that late cheap shot on Maloney. That was one of the lowest things a human being playing in the NRL could ever do! That’s the thing with these qldrs, you put them in their place; the eff bombs get dropped all over national tv- pretty pathetic losers if you ask me

Nice work Freddy, now bring on Game 3

Well for starters, Hunt weighs 90kg and it was a deadest penalty try in game 2 last year, he put an arm out shoulder included and impeded Cordner illegally – you’ll need to look at it through neutral sun glasses. As for Morgan, well he had no right moving outward to the touchline to impede Ferguson when the ball was landing in field

Chambers’ State of Origin penalty try a debacle

Told you NSW were going get them!

NSW sells papers while Queensland win Origins

Right Kurt, I wouldn’t be drawing a line through this NSW side just yet. Kevvie knows this and he’s more anxious now than ever. He knows they’ll be coming for them. It’ll be a whole new beast for qld. NSW is brewing, simmering behind the curtains, and it’s going to be an ambush with masterclass. If NSW get a head again by 8, they won’t get run down!

NSW sells papers while Queensland win Origins

well he came out on live television and said some pretty low things about the young center; of course he had a hand in there!

Did Gus Gould play a hand in Latrell Mitchell's Origin 2 omission?

2014 Qld came back to win the series when they lost the first 2 games?

The Blues will have to defy history to defeat the Maroons in 2019

I think it’ll be close. Fittler has some sort of game plan and selected based on that. One thing that stands out is the inclusion of Ferguson, he thinks they need someone to bring it back with venom when pegged down in their own half. Sims obviously is there to ensure both qld pivots incur a HIA. But it looks like these guys were picked to perform an all out attacking raid, it’ll help with Maloney there. If they click, the game will be over by half time in NSW favour, if it doesn’t… well the other team takes the series. The forwards brought in for qld are not as strong or in the kind of form of the people they are replacing so there are opportunities for NSW to snuff them out in the middle. Can’t wait to see how the game goes. #UpTheBlues

NSW sells papers while Queensland win Origins

I’m a die hard Dragons fan but Tariq is nowhere near the form he was in last year when Origin came around; I was surprised he didn’t take part in the whole series. So no, I’d have Cody Walker on the bench in place of Whighton

I agree Crichton needs to be replace but not with Jackson, if you actually watched NRL this year you’d see quite clearly he is not in the right mind to be put in that sort of environment, he’s just not playing the way he normally does, he is struggling at the dogs. So no, I’d have Dale Finucane in there

No, I wouldn’t go with Lodge, I’d have a RCG or give an opportunity to rising star Damien Saifiti at the Knights, he won’t take a backward step and will get the job done.

This next selection for me really just makes me wonder… When is NSW going to succumb to the undeniable fact that Mitchell Pearce just isn’t cut out for Origin? Seriously, do they need to hear a voice from the clouds tell it to them? So NO, I’d have Maloney and Cleary as the halves pairing

I’d leave Morris where he is, he was one of NSWs best. I’d let Cotric go and bring in Turbo on the wing to play outside Morris

Do this and we go to a decider in Sydney!

The five changes Brad Fittler must make for NSW to win Game 2

NSW will win in Perth, and it will have a lot to do with Latrell finding his mojo again. At least he hasn’t shown signs of kicking a field goal in the dying stages of a match when you’re down by 2 and a field goal is only worth 1 point

Memories of '08 should scratch Fittler’s Mitch itch

I’ve said from the beginning NSW needed an experienced half out there; a cool head like Maloney full of experience in big games was terribly needed – Fittler got that wrong or didn’t work out the right sort of play for Cleary and Walker. Nick Cotric looked very tired in the latter stages, probably because of a leg injury. Hass and Crichton didn’t provide impact off the bench. A lot of one out stuff and no usage of the ball culled their chances. So the changes are; 1) Bring in Maloney, bench Walker 2) Drop Crichton, bring in Matt Prior 3) Drop Cotric, bring in Turbo

Queensland win again because they're better at Origin

NSW will get up. I can understand Kevvie’s confidence but they are up against it. No doubt qld have picked a great team but NSW will be better tonight! NSW by 10, MOTM – James Tedesco

The Roar's State of Origin expert tips and predictions: Queensland Maroons vs NSW Blues, Game 1, 2019

For how much longer? Well as long as there are 2 teams pit against each other, it’ll be there. I’d say at least the next 100 years

We still get excited about Origin but for how much longer?

I think DCE will get found out early and will struggle with the pace of the game with no match fitness coming in. Mbye is another I think goes OK at club level but didn’t kick down the door coming into the side. He’ll need to be possessed by an evil spirit to play well. Hunt at 9 is also a risk; has an error in him that comes at times when absolutely not needed. Otherwise, I think the team is strong and they’ll play well

Queensland Maroons Origin 1 team: Expert reaction, every selection analysed

yeah I don’t think any of this means much on the actual night – so you could say it’s unnecessary noise
whoever wants it more will win, and NSW will win

Of course Queensland will win Origin. They always do

No options for Dale Finucan, Jordan McLean, Jesse Ramien? These 3 are highly likely to be picked, not sure why they’re not there

VOTE: Pick your NSW Blues team for Origin 1

Another Pearce pusher. Seriously, he’s past it Pearce… totally! like 4 years ago. Let’s leave it at that and let him play good football for the Knights

Mitchell Pearce deserves his shot at Origin redemption

Yeah I honestly think Pearce is done for. And George who? I thought Michael Crocker retired years ago? I’d assign the right side Centre vacancy to Jesse Ramien who has been outstanding for the Sharks last year and the Knights this year – he is dangerous in attack and punishing in defense. The halves – I just can’t pick Cleary. I wouldn’t be too upset if they kept Maloney but they should have Keary at 7 and Walker at 6 to go with the rest of the spine in Tedesco and Cook. The right wing should have Addo-Carr and left a Daniel Tupou or Nick Cotric – END

The NSW armchair selectors Origin team

I’d have Jesse Ramien in place of Whighton and Maloney at 6, but don’t mind if they pick Reynolds. Dale Finucane needs to be somewhere in there. Otherwise, very strong team that can tear opposition sides to shreds

The NSW armchair selectors Origin team

yeah but look at the ‘offenses’! quoting a bible text vs bashing a woman’s head in
how do you justify that?

The NRL has allowed worse than Folau to play

Absolute champ!
I’ve seen some great players come and go but Greg is right up there. I’ll say he was one of the game’s most devastating ball runners. Incredible athlete and all the best mate. I hope Kevvie doesn’t lose some sleep tonight

Greg Inglis announces immediate retirement from NRL

Naah, Roger and NRL owe an apology to Tedesco who in my mind won it hands down!

Is Kalyn Ponga a 1 or just 21?
