I believe that Ten could use a system very similar to the AFL’s interstate free-to-air broadcast rights.
For example, in Queensland, every Lions and Suns game is shown live and in HD on 7Mate.
If Ten showed every Reds game in Queensland, every Rebels game in Victoria and so on, as well as the match-of-the-round from across the ditch or the Indian Ocean, Super Rugby could go much further to encapsulate more fans to support their team.

The FFA pays the marquees’ wages because Del Piero and Broich help to bring in extra crowds and increase the A-League’s publicity.

Berisha is currently on $400 000 a season, which is at least half of what he is worth. I can hardly blame him for leaving, as he deserves the price tag that only a marquee spot can allow for.

Well, he certainly hasn’t showed this “peerless” skill yet, but Perth might be just the ground for him to spring into life. I sure hope not though. Touch wood.

I am sick of hearing that Paul Gallen is a “victim”, a “champion”, or that he “stood up for his state”. The fact is that repeatedly throwing punches at someone’s face, especially when they have no idea you are going to, is never the right way to retaliate to that person’s poor behaviour. If Paul Gallen was a real man, he’d give Myles a verbal serve condemning his grubby behaviour (which no one has mentioned until now – how strange).
