Hey DP,
On a separate note – 6 straight derby victories for the sharkies right now… 😁

NRL Round 21 talking points: Strong stomachs and weak guts
I was going to go but not hard given the events of the last 2 years – like you though, France 2025 is a must 👍
This is the first World Cup final I will not be in attendance at since 2000

Well if my job entails going to a negotiation meeting with an aggressive customer that I don’t enjoy engaging with …. Do I tell my boss that I don’t want to do it and ask him to get Tim Gore to right an editorial on it?
I’m sure he’ll be fine with that..

Sticky situation: NRL should enforce a few more rules in Operations Manual after Stuart's spray
Tim,
Sounds like an apologetic piece for Ricky trying to justify his comments…. Let’s change the entire operation manual because one coach one time wasn’t up to the standard.
I think it’s obvious where the problem lies, Ricky needs to look in a mirror.

Yeah they have on the sharks website and members update – it’s a neat looking jersey 👍
NRL Round 21 talking points: Strong stomachs and weak guts
But it wasn’t their first grand final? Unless the couple against Manly didn’t happen.
Also they wore that jersey through to the 2000 season – with no super league logo but a Pepsi logo in the middle
NRL Round 21 talking points: Strong stomachs and weak guts
Watched the replay, you guys were right – probably his best game at first grade 👍
Patched up Sharks down Dragons - and Tariq might have played last game after horror shot
Quick as Vaughan or what about as quick as De Belin?
Is Ricky Stuart a weak, gutted coach or an old dog unable to learn any new tricks?
Yeah righto – cause somewhere in all of that I somehow said no one cares where they finish…. Good old Jenny doing that thing again where you’re projecting your own thinking… good stuff 👍

Completely missed my point…. I’m saying you’d rather have players missing now than in September.
Specially when still winning…

Yeah well Finucane and Moylan back next week will help.
Kennedy won’t be back until finals so young Kade will have to fill the boots for now.
Hopefully Tracey isn’t out for long with Katoa already gone for the season…Ikavalu as our 4th choice is likely to be playing next week.
Again, like the Panthers – you’d prefer the injuries are out the way now rather than in September.

Given the last two matches have sold out on Monday…. I’d say it would be used a fair bit. I’m still only talking a capacity of 20,000 – just a modernized stadium though.
There’s not much undercover seating at the ground apart from the ET stand which needs to expand.
So many people standing or on the hill yesterday, not really a great game day experience as majority of seats are taken up by members now…. You go to commbank for instance and want to be back there – shark park not really unless you’re a sharks fan. Just look at the impact the upgrades at Brooky have had on manly’s attendance.

Nice one TB.
If everyone adopted the Jurbo tackling technique, the game would be much safer in terms of potential for head injuries… funnily enough I’m pretty sure tackling bags are still used at NRL level training, but there’s probably as much focus on wrapping up the ball, etc
Head shots are the result of poor technique, not accidents
Haha yes very true!
Channel 9 picked the game of the round for Sunday arvo, didn’t they?

I’m on half way of the Peter burns stand 👍
They need a new stand on the Peter burns side that is steeper and goes the whole length of the field, something similar to even the old Parra stadium – therefore covers the new parts of the leagues club which is a bit of eye sore…. Also need to extend out the ET stand.
The amount of sellout games this year shows the stadium is not big enough in terms of capacity.

100% but at least they aren’t celebrating… I would have been worried if they felt that it was a good win.
On the plus side, defence wins finals so it’s not all bad – if they can put together an 80 min clinical performance in attack with completions above 85%… it would be unmissable footy!

It’s a great looking heritage jersey!

Yeah clearly I missed a lot… that said at least they are still winning.

Very true, definitely felt the shock – literally saw him do a lap at shark park with a huge smile on Saturday night.
Incredibly sad news, condolences to his family.
