Thanks Mike. A couple of things. The All Rounder – never heard of him but I assume he’s from Bangladesh? Not disagreeing with Wasim but does it really matter if he’s a leftie? I have to take issue with the term ‘batter’. I understand its a brave new world and its not your idea (or fault) but for god’s sake, it’s a batsman. The girls can call themselves batters if they want. On that note, what are we supposed to call Third Man? Third Person (perdaughter)?

Yep, they are rubbish. Had one good year and went back to being rubbish again. As someone else said, they should be like the Crusaders but sadly, somewhere in the set up, like the board, things are so rotten all they produce is the rubbish we get year in year out. Cut them lose, get rid of the show-ponies running the place and give some of the decent players a go somewhere else where they may be developed and nurtured. It won’t happen of course and Australian Rugby will continue to stumble along, winning the odd game v a big scalp and all us punters will turn to a different sport

Yes, the one area we were good in was maul defence and I think Arnold was the key. There you go, I feel better now, I found a positive. The other positive was once again Michael Hooper who was magnificent as usual. The wheels feel off when he departed

Well, hard not to agree, except that maybe the ref/too were ‘right but they don’t let the game flow. It’s just so hard to watch rugby these days. To make it worse, the TV coverage was not up to standard, they need some Aussie cameramen and a better director, the commentary is Appalling, and I mean appali.g. Mehrens occasionally has something worth hearing but the rest are cringeworthy. Are they high? They are so busy trying to impress with 1000 words when 4 would do it they don’t even say what all the bewildering penalties are supposedly for. There was a replacement who was introduced with ‘and here’s the big fella now.. I watched the first 20 minutes of the Ireland game but couldn’t stand Marshall, the 15th scrum reset and the tmo looking for more pemalties to completely ruin a game of football. The laws need changing. Something needs changing. Everything needs changing. And im a rustwd-on! I might have to start watching the Mungo- at least the ball’s in play for more than 2 minutes at a time while everyone lies around having a chat while the ‘injured’ are attended to. Rant over

What a great advertisement for rugby league, netball, Aussie Rules, tennis. The ball won have been luck to be in play for 15 minutes total. Ruined a perfectly good spectacle. ENGLAND were the deserved winners but it was a joke to watch. Glad I didn’t stay up to watch it live.

I hate to be a negative Nellie and I’d like to preface this with well wishes for the Wallabies boys tonight. However, the advice you are giving Hunter us something that has been leveled at him for 2 years. Which bit doesn’t he understand? Do the coaches not drill this into him every week? Is he incapable of learning? Why do the coaching staff tolerate it week after week after week? (Not just Hunter, mind you). What is wrong in the set up? I am no expert but I have seen this fron Hunter since his debut. He 2ants to win the game every time he gets the ball. It doesn’t work how do you get through to someone like that? Why is he still on thebawallaboes? He’s an om defender but he causes more problems than he solves. Why is he there? Ronnie knows more about it than me and must see something that I definitely can’t.

Fair weather sailors? That’s rich. I feel like I did 25 Sydney to Hobarts. Rusted on you mught say. But having moved to qld a few years ago, last year I changed my allegiance to the Reds. The Tahs served up absolute rubbish for years and years and years. A couple if season they didn’t even try. What happened to Dempsey? Played for Australia but last time I saw him in a blue jersey he wasn’t interested. There is something seriously wrong with and at that organisation. Good luck to them but they lost me and not because I’m a fair weather fan.
