agreed – Gallup would be a great acquisition for Rugby

The ARU must make rugby a game for all

yep peeeko – you are right. Sadly given the Wallabies made the final – the ARU will be backslapping – there won’t be any appetite to change

The ARU must make rugby a game for all

Cheers sheek – the user pay parallel universe that only serves to fund the top

The ARU must make rugby a game for all

Cheers Brett – great post mate. I am the sole rugby fan in my work place – mostly leaguies here, of which all have really enjoyed the World Cup and are looking forward to next year! Yep Rugby is cool again.

Rugby World Cup: Wallabies pride much more than just a hashtag

there is a new competition to play off for 5th place in the RWC – it is called – wait for it – THE SIX NATIONS

SPIRO: Solve rugby's northern hemisphere problem with a global season

Cheers Loges – in emotional intelligence terms we all have 3 negative archetypes that juice up our lives – the prostitute (not sexual but where we do things we hate – for money), the victim (poor me, it is everybody else’s fault) and the saboteur (when everything is going well we impulsively do something stupid). The difference between us and the O’Connor’s of this world is that we get to do this out of the ever increasing (social media) spotlight.

For me – Cheika has embodied emotional intelligence as a coach and Randwick, Leinster, Waratahs and Wallabies have all reaped the benefits.

Once-in-a-generation O'Connor is a loss to Australian rugby

Great post, Spiro

SPIRO: Wallabies show potential, but can they win at Eden Park?

Excellent post Loges

The knock-on effect of the National Rugby Championship

Ah Sheek my brother you are getting jaundiced in your eldership …. for me the Rugby planets are starting to lineup – especially if we can get an ARU board with some vision and tenacity to take the game to the next level …

The knock-on effect of the National Rugby Championship

Cheers Sheek – like you I was dubious about the BBL – and was wrong. The Sheffield Shield has been the production line to BBL and Test Cricket. The NRC hopefully will do the same for Super and Test Rugby. Both are strategic investments that don’t pay for themselves. My understanding – and I may be wrong – but the NRC is cost neutral with the potential of going north. All that aside it has given a multitude of players the opportunity to step up which they did not have before – this can only be good for Australian Rugby.

Great post Loges – there are none so blind as those that will not see. Only financial collapse will see the required changes at the ARU to reverse its dog-with-a-bone attitude towards the grass roots of the game. All very sad really.

Old Power ARU cowed by New Power grassroots

Hey Brett,

An excellent article mate – the quality of journalism is continually reaching new levels ….

One day soon, Bill, the penny will drop

Pure and simple Hansen out coached McKenzie in B2 – the Wallabies had no plan B and were slaughtered in the process

The article is about Gen Y and the point of contrast is the 3 Amigos

The point of contrast for this article is the 3 amigos …. unfortunately all 3 are backs.
