The support for a national day that represents the entire nation is part of a society wide transformation that is well underway. Albo’s divisive voice failed but that hasn’t stopped voices appearing in subsections of the population.
The teaching of Aboriginal history is starting in school with infants being taught that their grandparents stole the land and killed the owners of the land.
At the same time mathematics and science have been relegated to electives and student testing has shown us falling behind in relation to other countries.

I didn’t keep count but there were many who said they want to close the gap, but it can be done without involving DNA with the constitution. All people should be treated equally.
